(sees lethian shift, now nearly shoulder height to him. shifts, with difficulty)

lethian, my son, my eldest boy. (hugs him)

*Tharyan walks to Pounamu and nudges him in greeting*
*smiles* [nice to see him back eh?]

pounamu (shifts back, exhausted)

*smiles and walks over to them* Pounamu,you going to go see sunfyr?

aurora; no dad, don't try to shift again, you're not strong enough, yet.

(pounamu flies up to the cave)

aurora, i saw dad & lethian together. lethian is sooo much like dad now,
it's unreal! ( cuddles up to phil) the bad times are over now, darling.

[Philosipher]

*smiles and puts his arm around her neck* i suppose they are. *looks at her*

aurora; same bright blue eyes, & white/blonde hair, and now that lethian has let his hair grow longer, he is like a younger version of dad. (kisses phil)

[Philosipher]

*nods* yeah,i noticed...*kisses back and notices tharyan looking away*
Tharyan: [so much for "not wanting and needing love"]

aurora; *laughs* he'll fall in love, when he least expects it, just like us.

cara; danika & cael have 4 children now, ferne is expecting her first, any day, and bobby's courting.

pounamu; and what of the adolescents?

cara; we haven't seen gryff & oriel for years. comet lives at the rest area, &
helps me, zethina journies with the dragons of light..

pounamu; yes, i know about zethina. what about the other 2?

cara; astra... do you remember what happened?

pounamu; aye

cara; phil & geldian freed her. the sorcerer destroyed her mind, so that
she would serve him.:( she lives with comet & i now.

pounamu; and blaze?

cara; you're not yet strong enough to know that, dad.

[Philosipher]

*looks around and walks into his house to clean Tharyan's saddle*

[Strata Dragonfire]

Strata: *is still examaning her now fixed wing. flexes and folds*

Elsa: *is leaning against Strata, listening intently*

Strata: [it's none of your buisness you know. You shouldn't easedrop.]

Elsa: [it's just... I didn't mean to. Just listening to them go on.... they've known eachother for a while, which means they've lived here for....]

Strata:[...you're thinking about our home aren't you?]

Elsa: *Nods. Continues to watch and listen.* Well at least you're wing's better.... Maybe we should get going... *starts mounting Strata*

*walks over to them* you two can stay longer if you want.We have enough room here and im sure geldian and i can build a house using magic for ya. *smiles*

[Strata Dragonfire]

Strata: *lifts head and takes protective step forward infront of Elsa*

Elsa: *pushed Strata* He's saying we can stay you dumb overgrown lizard! *turns to newcommer* Sorry, she's very protective of me. My name's Elsa by the way. That would be greatly appreciated, thank you. We haven't had an actual place to call home in ages.... oh and this one *pats Strata's snout* is Strata. *smiles back*

comet (lands, waits for astra, who lands clumsily)

cara; slowly, dad, astra may not recognise you, she only really knows cara &

*smiles at them both* nice to see you comet,and you astra

pounamu (lands next to comet & astra. astra startles & shys away)

oh my love, what did he do to you? :( :( (sees her eyes are dull, with no expression or recognition)

comet; it's ok, little sister, dad wont hurt you.

cara; the sorcerer that enslaved her destroyed her mind, she can't communicate now, and can only do basic stuff, eat, sleep & fly:(

pounamu; oh my darling girl:cry: i hope geldian or phil killed the mongrel
that did this. *sobs*

aye we did he's no longer a problem to dragonkind. pounamu you should rest, there has to be a way to bring her out of it.

comet; dad, when we were coming home, i saw a large group of orcs, heading this way.

pounamu; orcs! let me at 'em! did you hear that, lads?

(takes flight)

[Philosipher]

*sighs* always on the move...*grabs the saddle and straps it on Tharyan*

pounamu; (finds the orcs. grabs 2 & snaps their spines, turns & flies low, breathing fire)

take that, ye scumbags!

[Philosipher]

*wearing his armour and wielding his sword jumps off Tharyan into the battle slicing two and stabbing another one in the head*

pounamu (dodges an arrow) this dude is cruising for a bruising! (grabs the orc & crushes him)

[Philosipher]

*chops off one's head and finds an archer a couple feet behind him with the bow strung.he releases it sending it strait through the armour and into the right side of my chest and out the back.Feels the warmth of blood* [Tharyan!Get me...out of here im injured!] *feels himself lifted off the ground by him*

*jumps off heroic alittle to high up but still gets up and kills two* you alright phil?

*lands with Tharyan farther away from the battle* [i'll be fine until the battle is over,than get me some help would ya?some of my ribs are broken] *coughs a little blood and sits against tharyan's side after he lays down*

pounamu ; take cover geldian! ( lets loose again with combined flame & powerball) eat dirt, jerks!!!:angry:

[Philosipher]

Tharyan: [you want me to remove the arrow?]
[no,that would make it easier for me to bleed to death.you can break off the tip]
Tharyan: [thank god,its poking me in the side right between the scales!]
*laughs a little and leans forward as he snaps it off*

pounamu; stir frying orcs, one of me fave activities.;) ( kills the last few)

phil, are ye alright, lad?

(uses farspeak) * aura, cara, we're heading home. phil is injured*

cara; *ok dad, we'll be ready*

god,im sick of this thing! *grabs the arrow shaft and pulls it out easily since the head is gone* *watches the blood pour out his armour through the hole and the sections* [Tharyan,get me out of here]

pouamu; (lands, quickly followed by tharyan)

cara; (runs over, looks ) we need mum

pounamu; don't disturb her, i can do it. ( shifts to galwain puts his hand over the wound
& heals phil)

[dragons hero]

*get his right leg cut open* *kills the orc and starts backing up tward pounamu.*

[Philosipher]

*looks at galwain* what about the bones!? *wipes the blood of his mouth*

[dragons hero]

*limps over* pounamu you should of stayed and rested.....

[sunfyr the golden]

galwain; what? me stay at home, when there's a good scrap on?
geldian, are you out of your mind? follow me lad. ( carries phil inside,
& lays him on the bed) geldian, park up, lad, once i'm happy phil is ok,
i'll check you over.

[Philosipher]

*laughs* i couldve walked...i think.
Tharyan: [doubt it,and most likely no]
[whys that?]
Tharyan: [tell you later]

galwain; ye couldn't have walked, lad. (finds a few more minor wounds &
heals them. takes a cup from cara) drink this, lad, it will ease the pain.

[Philosipher]

*shudders from a jolt of pain and happily takes it* whats in it? *drinks some of it*

[dragons hero]

*looks at the wound* [it already turning black!? heroic!]

[calm down.....]

[when skin turns black it's not good! that's worse then the time blood shot from my side.]

[well then have some one take a look at it..]

*limps into the house* i think something might be wrong with my leg...

galwain; willowbark tea, with a spot of feverfew. (takes the cup. eyes change color & glow silvery grey) sleep now lad, it will help.

[dragons hero]

*falls back as blood shoots out of the wound* [great.....]

[Philosipher]

*nods and drinks it,than starts to fall asleep quickly* eh...check...on geldian...woulll.......*goes limp from the tea*

galwain (turns to geldian, kneels & starts healing his leg.)

thanks.. what the **** was on that blade? i've never seen any wound turn black so fast...

galwain; i don't know lad. (takes the tubing from cara, who has anticipated the need. gives phil some blood & sees the color return to his face. removes the needle & heals the wound. pinches off the tubing, while cara cleans the needle)

you too geldian, you need a boost.

*Tharyan walks around outside,than walks to the hot springs and washes the blood off his silver scales*

galwain; geldian, sit down, lad, no need for you to stand. ( gives geldian some blood. puts him to sleep & carries him over to his house) jennie, let him sleep please, lass. (goes & finds tharyan) let me see please, tharyan.

[Philosipher]

*lays down in front of him*

galwain; (finds a couple of wounds on tharyan, that tharyan hadn't noticed. heals them)

rest for a while, now, tharyan, & thankyou for getting phil home so quickly.
you are one of the most loyal, helpful dragons i know.

(goes over to his & morgaine's house. sleeps, totally exhausted)

*sits up in bed a few hours later* [what happend?]

[galwain put you to sleep.]

[oh..] *get out of bed and walks outside*

*Tharyan walks to where Phil is located to see if he's awake*

[Strata Dragonfire]

Strata: [we shouldn't go into that battle. I don't want to get fried by that big green one.]

*both make their way to find a place to call home. they watch as they battlers come back and start rushing around*

galwain; (comes out of the house.) elsa, strata, where are you going?
you're welcome to stay here, as long as you like, and even make a home for your selves here, we can have a house for you, very quickly.:) :)

(shifts & flies up to sunfyr)

galwain (rubs her back, to ease the pain) ok love, i'll ask cara to go up to
the nest.

*holds onto the end of Tharyan's tail and is lead over to them*

whatever has frightened or upset you, little one, it is safe here. i do not
allow anyone to harm my dragons, and i will protect them all, if i can.

we may not be conventional doctors, but we do use our skills ,
for the benefit of others. we are both alternate healers, using our
energies & abilities to heal with.

phil, remember, the old boy is still not completely healed yet.
there's no way he's ready to know about blaze. yet i know
both you & geldian are still cautious around him, because
of that. be patient, he is improving.

*wakes up hearing noise and looks out the window after dragging himself to it*

aurora; it started during what we call "the week from hell". you'd just left us, mum, & we were all numb from shock & sadness. dad was still with us, but
we could all see he was very sick. phil & i had just found out we were having another baby. we couldn't cope mum, and yes, we fought. she was very premature. dad used the last of his energy, to save her life. he died, helping her.

morgaine; yes, that would be him.

aurora; after he died, things got really bad around here. geldian went into a deep depression. he was drinking heavily & fighting. he didn't care,it was like
he didn't want to live anymore.:( blaze went bad. he was fighting heroic & tharyan. he was jealous of heroic being the eldest son, and regent. phil & geldian tried to help him.

morgaine; ok, but why is dad sensing that everyone is afraid of him?

aurora; when you returned lat week, dad was completely wild.
we could see you were ok, but he wouldn't let any of us near.
geldian had been working on him & he was starting to settle.

had turned into a right pr!ck. he was teasing & insulting dad.
dad didn't know or recognise him.....

geldian tried to warn him. he didn't listen.:( :( we all saw it.

morgaine; (goes pale) oh god! that's why everyone is still
a little afraid of him.

aurora; yes mum, but we don't blame him.

morgaine; he'll have to know. i'll find a way of telling him.

he doesn't know about you know what, yet, but i'm going to have to tell him, in the morning. and i can promise you, it wont be a pretty sight. fortunately, there is someone i can call on, for help, if i need it.

well if i get realy mad i grow horn, my eyes change, i grown some scales and im just as strong as a dragon. sometimes i even get a tail, but i lowers my energy extreamly low.
