this is a sequal to Dragon determination, which was the sequal to dragon mystification. i dedicate this whole thing to bright eyes, who has stuck with me and the roleplay series this whole time! TWO YEARS. anyway, this is for you bright!

Dragon return
Years have gone by since vain has attacked the earth, and the world is peacfull. the place once called "fire" no longer exists. Humans and dragons have become freinds, well, some of them. And everything seems fine.
In one week something suspicious begins to happen, and some people begin dissapearing. Now something has gone wrong.
and new supicions pop up about the spikes returning, but no proof is found. No one knows whats going on, but its
defenantly time to find out!

He has somewhat a faded yellow glow to his eyes, he is pale and his spines are mostly white. He can be pretty snarky and shoot out at people. He is bisexual and is a male.

Nova: *nods* They have these symbles on the side of them *he writes the letters U-S-N-A-V-Y*

Nara: strange...what do you think it means?

Yethrek: how the heck do you pronounce that?!

Sorit: *walks over* Its english I tought it to myself when I was younger but that right there U-S-N-A-V-Y isn't a word on it's oun US is a word and NAVY is too...Us Navy? That dosn't make any sence

Bright: *sighs* U.S. Navy

[Shimmer]

Nara: hmm? do you know what it means bright?

Aerow: what are you guys talking about?

Lutenant Henderson: *is talking on his walkie talkie* Sarg, this place is weirdm its all jungle, i think. And i saw some weird bone structure back a ways....

[Bright Eyes]

Bright: *gets a panflit from the cave* This washed up ashore one day *it was a wrinkly about the U.S Army Reserve and the little 1800 number was on it and everything* The United States of America or the U.S.A is a large powerful country north east of us

Nara: we can't let them find us....

Aerow: cant let who find us?

Yethrek: god, not again. we have to hide until they leave.

Aerow: hide from WHO?

[Bright Eyes]

Nova: Cool it Yethrek we don't know why they are here and our job is to protect the island and the world if that is needed we can't fret with a bunch of pink fleshys (Nova's nick name for humans)

Shaktra: *unlike her brother she had been paying attention to the conversatuon* Save the world Papa?

[Shimmer]

Yethrek: but STILL, we cant fight them weather they want to kill us or not. its not our choice, you remembere what happened, i won't allow it to happen again.

Aerow:....*crosses his arms*

Nara: Nova...if they do want violence...we have no other choice. you never know what kind of renforcments they'll bring..

Nova: *sighs* Right...Hiding isn't really my thing but if I must...

Shaktra: Hide? *she repeated*

Nara: We have too, for they're sake. *points to Shaktra and Aerow*

Jiravi (jare-ave-eye): *hops from one tree to another, spotting lutenant henderson* hellloooo...what do we have here? *lays on the branch, staring down at henderson* ah, a human! never thought i'd see one.

Henderson: *still on walkie talkie* And well, its just all jungle...

Jiravi: *leaps onto henderson, gutting him* silence, fool.

Sergant williams: henderson? henderson?! you still there?

Nova: *nods* Right...*he had other ideas in mind before she mentioned the kids sometimes he forgot they were his or something*

Yethrek: i think im going to scout for a while, see how far they get into the island

Nara: fly high enough, so they cant see you.

Sorit: When I thought things were going to be normal

Nova: Normal? Sorit this is the norm for us

Sorit: Right humans, demons, spikes just another day's work

Nova: SHUSH!

Sorit: Oops must have sliped my tounge *winks at the kids*

aerow: what are spikes and demons? *already knows what a human is*

[Bright Eyes]

Nova: don't worry about it *turns to Nara*

Shaktra: *wrinckles her nose* Mama!

Nara: you two shouldnt be hearing this conversation...get back in the cave.

Aerow: but momma!

Nara: aerow, please this is adult bissness! (wow, an i remember when shimmer treated nara the same way XD)

[Bright Eyes]

Shaktra: No I wanna hear!

Nova: *gives Shaktra a cold glance that shuts her up for a moment*

Shaktra: But Papa!

Aerow: fine. *crosses his arms once more and walks into the cave, pouting*

Nova: get Shaktra!

Shaktra: *shook her tiny frame in anger and fallowed her brother to the cave*

Nova: *sighs*

nara: i hate using harsh tones with them..but this is somehting ells....

Nova: We have to tell them sometime I wasn't plaining on keeping secerts from them

Nova: *takes a slyer tone* Like we did?

Sorit: I think you two are being over protective Nova weilded a sword at 6 years old little pyco

Sorit: Hum...Youve both changed *walks into the cave sits down and snaps open her personal jernal she had started when she learned out to write she had named it by chapers the frist being Dragon Mistification*

Sorit: *blinks looking over at Shaktra* Just a little something to keep memorys alive

Aerow: *sits up* what memories? the stuff mommy and daddy wont tell us?

[Bright Eyes]

Sorit: Some of it is in the begining you wouldn't know most of the people there *rubs the blue lether cover of the rather thick note book* Pritty much everything thats happened I've recored it births...deaths pairings and break ups...*ste stopped herself before she said wars*

Shaktra: You wrote all of it down?

Sorit: *nods*

Aerow: can you read it too us? pleeeeaasse?

[Bright Eyes]

Sorit: your parents wouldn't like it *rubs the book alittle harder* But no one will tell will they?

Shaktra: *whispers* No Aunt Sorit

Aerow: never! i promise, aunty.

Sorit: *smiles evily and opens to page one keeping her voice low as she read about Shimmer and Ryen's frist meeting each other she explained the relations that Shimmer was Nara's mom and Ryen Nova's father which as she thinks about it is rather interasiting*

Aerow: wooow......so grampa's name is ryan? and Gramma's name is shimmer?

[Bright Eyes]

Sorit: *nods and beings reading about how akward the interation with the dragon and the human soilder was* I didn't get very good details on these frist months cuz of course I wasn't born

Aerow: *nods and listens*

[Bright Eyes]

Shaktra: wait a second our grandpa was a human?

Sorit: *nods* Its rather complicated I don't fully understand it myself

Aerow: how weird! A human...but why are mom and dad worried about them now?

[Bright Eyes]

Sorit: Because there is good and evil in all races and in each of us your parents are just unsure which side these humans are on

Shaktra: Oh

Sorit: Anyways my thought hurts a bit *she had gotten to the part of the story when she herself had been brought to Bright Eyes by Pen* I'll read more tonight when the others are asleep if you can stay awake

Aerow: okay! Gramma shimmer and gramma bright sure had an adventure, huh?

(oh you dont know the HALF of it, little one. XD im re-reading when yethrek and nara hatched, MAN i sucked at rolepalying!)

(I'm kinda just writing down what I remmber I don't useally read the very begining)

Sorit: *smiles and nods* That they did

Shaktra: I don't see why Mama and Papa wouldn't tell us this stuff

Sorit: *sighs opening the book to the next blank page* There is good and evil in every story *begins writing in the 3ed chaper she called Dragon Return of the U.S Navy ships and her talk with the kids

Aerow: what was the evil? i know mama and daddy are good, i um..think. who was evil aunty sorit?

[Bright Eyes]

Sorit: *puts her fingure to her lips in the shh gesture* That comes later in the story

Aerow: *laughs* sorry.

Nara: *walks into the cave* you two can come out now.

Shaktra: I'll stay here if its okay

Nova: *gives a look of indifference*

Aerow: me too, please.

Nara: *is confused* sorit, you didnt tell them anything, did you?

Sorit: What? I'm just reading! *she had never told anyone other then Bright and the kids about the jernal*

Nara: okay, just make sure whatevr book that is isnt too scay for them.

Aerow: momma, i never get scared!

Sorit: *giggles* Don'y be foolish Nara

Nova: *sits down looking out at the ocean who he had always loved*

Nara:*smiles* okay, i know i can trust you. *walks back outside*

Aerow:.....wow. that was easy.

Sorit: I think I have a little fox in me too

Shaktra:*smiles looking up at her aunt*

Aerow: *a glint of adventure in his eye* aunty..can you take us to see the humans ships? pleeeeaaase? if we dont get to close...we shouldnt get hurt right? pleeeeaaase?

Sorit: *that crossed the line and she gave a glare* No *it was a very simple answer but hard for younge dragons to understand*

Shaktra: Why not?

Sorit: Guys I'm sorry but these people are dangerous we don't know there intentions

Aerow: okay....

Shaktra: *sighs* Fiiiine

Sorit: *gets back to her writing* You two are exsactly like your parents

Aerow: how? did they like to go look at human ships too?

[Bright Eyes]

Sorit: Ha your parents are crazy but isn't everything?

Aerow: i dont know. is that when you said the evil came? when mommy and daddy were like us?

Sorit: There still like you only they love you two and want you to be safe *she changed the subject perposfully*

Aerow: *sits there, them smiles deviously* Shak! *crawls over to her and whispers so that sorit could not hear* we should sneak out tonight! to see the ships!

Baravi: alright, im tiring of this. lets go in for the dang kill! *leaps onto Regis*

*gets his rifle knocked from his hands and grabs his browning auto pistol* GAH! Im gonna kill you, you little sonuva -
*gives out an angry yell and throws Baravi to the ground, and shoots the pistol at him*

[Shimmer]

Baravi: oh crap! *dodges into a bush*

[philosopher]

*fires the pistol after him* Yeah, you run home to Mama! (:P)
*reloads the pistol and puts it in the holster, then grabs his rifle and keeps walking while attatching the thermal scope*

Baravi: *jumps back out of the bush, back onto Regis, hissing* you and your lame guns!!!

[philosopher]

*pulls out his machette* Well, not all my gear is lame. *slices baravi's hand off to get him off, getting sprayed by his blood and bone marrow*

Baravi: GAAAAHHAAA!!! *draws back holding whats left of his hand* stupid human! *dissapears*

(i gotta go to bed, g' night my lover. *hugs*)

*sighs and wipes the machette off on his pants and puts it back in the sheath, then grabs his rifle once more and keeps walking*

(Two minor questions...What is the tech level of the rp ranging from bows and arrows to space ships and erm...where is...Where are the majority of the rpers in this? ...Sorry to ask...bright *hides*)

(Well its kinda complex this is kinda the 3ed part of the same story it is in modern times but the main charictors live on an island unknown to humans exept the fishermen who live in the small port untile now that the U.S. government have just found it if you want more info read a little Dragon Mistification(1st) thats in the dead RP section and Dragon Determination (2ed) that has just finished you'll understand the plot better if you read them)

*continues to look through the scope at everything* [lots of heat signatures...mostly from the warmth of the sun...]

Derva: *shruggs* Oh well it matters not *jumps down from her tree not relizing a human was far away*

*hears the noise and turns the high powered rifle slowly* [hmm...2 targets...maybe more...]
*watches through the scope*
[one of them is that thing I cut up earlier...might take the shot...]

Derva: *blinks and turns her head her red eyes glowing faintly* hmmm...

[philosopher]

*cant see the red eyes but notices her turn and keeps the rifle pointed, laying on his belly*

Derva: Who are you? *her voice is low almost a growl*

*is laying in the tall grass and slides the bolt back, then pushes it forward to load a high powered 14.5mm round, not making a noise*

Derva: Oh brother...*rases her staff and a dark energy ball is thrown from it hitting the ground next to him leaving in the ground a melon sized crador* Get up and answer me!

[philosopher]

[alright, you want an answer you lil' bugga, i'll give ya one...]
*fires the 14.5mm round, and causes the staff to shatter into thousands of spinters all over the place, then reloads another round*

Derva: *sighs bring the peaces of the staff up into the air and putting them back into place bit by bit* Must you humans always be so very violent? *she sounds bored but really this human was rather entertaning*

*stands up, still covered in blood and bone marrow, and puts the bulky rifle on his back* must you threaten a already threatened soldier?

Derva: *shruggs* Should I care who you are? *a smile cruils on her lips*

Should I care of you at all? I couldve blown your arm off if I really wished...you should be happy your fingers arent broken too.

Derva: *shruggs* I could heal them easyly if you did *leans on her newly made staff* I'm Derva may I ask who you are?

Its kinda hard to heal when you dont have your heart left...And Im Regis...mind I ask what type of creature you are?
*crosses his arms over his chest*

Derva: A powerful dark magic spirit but don't fret I'm on the good side...You humans always think dark magic spirits are Satanic or evil but belive it or not we have life choses *sighs and smiles warmly at him* I still didn't get your name

Meh, I dont bother with the dark or the light. I protect and yet I destroy, So what would I be? *grins* And I did say my name was Regis.

Derva: *her smile widens showing beautiful white teeth* You and I are more alike then you know

*he shruggs* when youre in my life you find many people arent different from you. Ive been all over the world.

Baravi: *sits in the tree, wrapping some cloth he had found around his arm*

Derva: I'm sure...*looks away then back at him* May I ask what you are doing on my son's island *she looked like she couldn't be a day over 17 but her face had all seriousness*

Baravi: *wraps his arm up* stupid humans. god.

Shaktra: Comon brother hurry *she whispers*

Aerow: okay lets go. *heads out of the cave*

*looks at Baravi* Well, dont attack me again.

Shaktra: *slides down the small cliff of the cave*

Baravi: *leaps onto the lutenant, and breaks the gun* god i hate these. *smiles evily down at the human.*

*fires a round past Baravi's head*

Baravi:whoa! talk about a close one! what is with you humans, jeez. no one can get a decent, fair fight around here.

*a whole bunch more people rush onto the deck and point various weapons at him, mostly rifles and pistols*

*watches from the beach, laughing quietly*

Baravi: yeah well, heres what i think about your feeble race! *rips open The lutenants throat, pulling his spine out and breaking it in two*

*watches him get hit by a few rounds from the guns, and several pieces of his flesh are torn off*

Baravi: aarrgh! the stuff i always get into! *runs off into the woods, smirking snarkily with the spine in his mouth*

*watches him, then looks to the ship* Well then, I guess you met my "freind."

Aerow: *pushes Shaktra into the bushes, fallowing her to hide*

*clambers onto the ship*
Captain: Regis! How did that scout mission go?
Regis: Well, I didnt find any enemy soldiers...but...yeah, found some creatures sir, most of which I have never seen before on my travels all over the world.

Aerow: *watches*

[philosopher]

Captain: Anything else?
Regis: Yeah, I found a Ruin of somesort...never seen anything like it...and it doesnt appear to be man made or spike made...too large for a spike.
Captain: Spike?
Regis: Um, its what tore apart the LT.
Captain: Right...someone put him in a body bag, then wash his blood off the deck.

[Shimmer]

Aerow: spike? wassat?

Captain: Alright, first thing tomorrow morning we'll have you and a few others go to check it out.
Regis: Alright sir...and...hows about a wash? I have a lot of blood on me...

*most of the crew goes back into the ship, and Regis leans on the railing, taking off the NVG's*

Aerow: *stares at regis*

*turns them off and puts them in his satchel, then takes off the bandanna on his head and uses it to wipe off his face*

Bavari: eck! *spits out the spine, while in the forest* stupid humans....

Shadow: *is on a small boulder lookin at the ships from a fair distance away, also sees Bavari run off* they humans have changed since i have last seen them. that dirty little spike, hust always has to pick on other things

Baravi: *sighs* man, what a world. i hate this place. to bad i can't get back to sanctum...

Shadow: *decides to follow Baravi*

Baravi: *sits up againts a tree, trying not to get his back spikes stuck in its bark*

Baravi: hey, not my fault. okay..well yeah it is. *tries to pull himself off the tree, but fails* eerg..hey i hate those stupid "guns" that guy was holding one. i broke his little toy, big deal.

Shadow: you murdered a few of them you know...

Baravi: uh, ONE. *tries again, falling foreward onto his face into the dirt* ...*sits up and spits out some dirt* yuck!

Shadow: i expected more from a spike who is violent enough to cause a conflict witht the humans

Baravi: ppssssh. yeah, right. Im not here to start another stupid war.

Shadow: *gives Baravi an odd look* what creature who doesn't want to start a war wiht another creature would just go and kill the other creatures randomly?

Shadow: for a spike who randomly attacks innocent humans, u sure dont care much about ur fate, wat if a human finds you? wat if they brin u back to their home and do experiments on u? or kill u right on the spot?
