RPG: The World is Gone 2... (planning)

Yes, the RP thread you old members know and love, RPG: The World is Gone..., is coming out with a sequel.

Just as a little re-cap for you newer members, RPG: The World is Gone... is based in 2012 when a giant Asteroid hits Earth and wipes out all life except for some dragons, and some humans. The entire Earth is changed, and devastated. Almost everything is a desolate wasteland. But a few dragons and humans band together to find the one key thing to restore Earth.

I made this thread to discuss anything you guys would suggest for the main opening plot of the RPG. Here are a few things i would like you guys to probably answer. Also, you dont have to discuss these things, you can discuss your own ideas, but I would like it if someone responded ideas for the following: (by the way I might add things to the list, so check up on it every-so-often)

1. The name of the thing that will restore Earth, and in what thing it might be hidden (temple, cave, etc.)

2. How I should start it out/the opening plot

3. Should everyone pick a new character and everyone meets all over again? Or start out still in a group.

(by the way, the code name for RPG: The World is Gone... will be TWIG [the world is gone])

(REMEMBER: releasal date of TWIG by this Monday (California time), so if you want to discuss something here discuss it now)

I like the idea u had on the thread, where u kept the old charecters, but they where seperatord or w/e and nee ot regoin if they where seprated, or have mebers chose if they where seperated form the gorup or not, would keep it connected to the old thread


Also will events tht happend befor be in the history of this one?

Black: yes i agree, i think poeple who have joined the first RPg, should decide if they want to start with someone (like their lover), if they decide that, they should post here. Otherwise, new joiners of the RP should start out with no contact of another RPer (but you can have contact with a character that you make up and controll).

ok.....what ever the object is i think i should ither be in a very unusual place or an obvious one were no one would look. like in the enter of the earth or in some unknown cave sysetem below the earth's surface, or perhaps in the crator.

Gonna restart my character (Neraka was my first and I think I've found ways to tweak him so he might actually make sence lol. And I'll probably only have Neraka. Flaccus caused some random things that I think also messed up the rp lol).

Not sure what would restore the earth. The only thing that comes to my mind in that topic is the lifestream from FFVII

Phil: Merlin's amulet? hmmm..... i dunno. It seems more dramatic if something bigger would save the Earth, lol

Loyal: Yes, you can be a bone dragon, (if by being a bone dragon, you're made of only bones and are sorta like and undead zombie, then if you want you can be a dragon killed by the blast, if you want) just dont make yourself invincible, you can start out in the crater if you wish but since this is based in 2012, i wouldn't suggest the center of the Earth. As for the cave systems that's ok but it can't be a world-wide cave system, at the most maybe the size of half the United states or something, well you get the point, just not too big.

Knight: I like the Temple of Life idea, we can go with that.

If anyone wants to have their lover from TWIG also be their lover in TWIG 2, and I still haven't changed my mind about everyone starting out with a clean sheet, then start with a clean sheet and arrange to fall in love all over again with your lover or whatever you like.

But my character is going to be new since I forgot what my character was like in the first TWIG.

Black: No, what I meant was like the dragon equivalent of Ancient Greece. Basically, an intelligent civilization of dragons who had constructed and used the underground tunnels. But now the tunnels are abandoned and no major civilization uses them. But thats only an idea

Addis: well, condition is basically an earthen wasteland. all cities are destroyed very few places with food and good water and shelter. Place, hmmmm well when I start the RP then I'll anounce my place...(I've been thinking of some really dramatic openings :D)

The dramatic openings I've thought of so far are pretty good in my opinion.
Sneak Peak: My character is dreaming and remembers his friends, his good life, then the impact, and suddenly wakes up, beathing deeply, a little scared, and looks out over the cliff he's on and sees a destroyed city, and a huge crater........
