What do you think of the FF Series?
Is it usually a better RPG than most you've played?

Ithink the ff series is great
Its the only rpg i play.
I like the stories in ff. they are great fuin at times.
I like 7 the most and i positivley hate 8.

ff 8 was my favourite lol what didnt you like about it? ff 12 is the worst needs more love lol.
ff needs more dragons and itll be the perfect rpg they need to mix a lil of breath of fire with it

Anybody playing the new FF3 on the DS? I'm loving it. I wish I was able to beat FF: Tactics Advanced but I'm missing 1 item. :(

im playin the 3rd now...im stuck...enemys too strong and i don't feel like training...and i beat tactics advanced...what do you need?

3, 11 and 12 are the only ff gmaes i havnt played. oh and 6. i havnt got round to playing that one yet either

4 and up is what i haven't played...but i have played mystic quest, tatics advands, crystal cronichals and every other ff...but not 4-12

i havnt played those, well they arent spin offs but you know what i mean. ihav eonly been playng the core games. and Dirge of Cerberus.

anyone played the breath of fire games? its based on a dragon kid descendent of all the dragons gotta save the world 3 and 4 was the best ther on ps1 best rpgs ive played all about dragons :D

I've played all of the final fantasies and all of the breath of fire games. Actually, I have the games with me. :P

Honestly the best one out of the series that quite a bit of people keep missing is Final Fantasy 6 (or Final Fantasy III for the US). The storyline is very nice, and not only that, but the main character is female (which is not often in games). The bad guy, Kefka, is one that you feel to not like, and he also destroys the world. You also have a cast with a variety of personalities, and thus you get those type of characters that you like/hate also.

Ok, i'm getting this off my chest, but in all honestly FF7 is a bit overhyped. Yea it's a great game, but.....honestly I can think of other villians badder than sephiroth. :) (*gets his weapons ready in case of a counter attack*)

As for the breath of fire series, in 5, I think they tried to hard to get replay capibilities into the game (to the point that you're basically FORCED to restart). But still, it's also a nice series.


On a side note, anyone play any of the Suikoden series? It's another awsome rpg series, made by Konami.

i played em all soukeden 2 is the best one the new one is alright but they good of made the graphics better then ps1 graphics lol

I've only played Final Fantasy 7 and Suikoden 4....Yeah, Sephiroth isn't that bad of a villian.....
