A large black dragon roars in agony as the chain around his neck cuts deep into his skin. His long golden claws rake at his throat, trying to pry the tightening chain away, but to no avail. His roar was deafening, shattering the still night air. Celtic was his name and he carried it with pride, all of the dragons of his clan looked up to him and respected him, bowing low as he walked past. He had bright teal orbs that glowed in the night, giving him a fearsome air. Large golden wing membranes shined iridescent in the moonlight, matching his claws, horns, and spikes that ran along his majestic back. Celtic roared once again, this time in anger, as knights with their swords drawn, marched towards him. " Great dragon," one said, raising his hands, " I beg of you to tell me of your secrets and teach me, and my people, the way of the dragon." Celtic growled, his blood stained teeth shining, " And what if I refuse?" he asked, pulling harder on the chain to look the knight straight in the eyes, giving him a look of pure venom. The knight smirked evilly, pointing his sword at Celtic's throat, where his blood dripped to the ground in large drops, " Then I will kill you, your clan, and your entire race until only humans will rule supreme! So what do you say?" he asked, laughing through his teeth. Celtic reared up onto his hind legs, letting out a bellow that would wake the dead, his large claws raking the air. He pulled hard on the chain until, with a resounding snap, it broke, sinding Celtic back to the ground with a thump, his neck bleeding profusely. " Now that I am free, do you wish to challange me, oh mighty knight?" asked Celtic, a deep rumble starting in his chest. The knight quailed under Celtic's awsome power, shaking like a leaf under his sturn gaze.....
