Okay, so I have a feeling this one will be somewhat different than the usual rp that goes on here. I have to admit I'm not at all used to the chat-rp-thing on a forum, and I really do hope you don't mind me using a different style of rp. If so, please notify me of that.
The style of rp I'm going for is the story based kind. You'll see what I mean after I put down the general setting and the intropost itself down here.

The Dragons:

 Fire:
- colours: gold, yellow, orange, bronze, red
- body: 4 legs, big chest plates, snake-like eyes, spikes from head to the tip of the tail, tail ends in a point. Scales have different hues of colours. Claws are big and curved. Big teeth.

 Smoulder:
- colours: orange, bronze, red, scarlet, burgundy, darker shades of red
- body: serpent-like sleek body, small wings, 4 small paws, tail ends in a point, snake-like eyes. Scales have different hues of colours. Small chest plates, small almost straight claws. Small teeth.

 Earth/Metal:
- colours: gold, silver, bronze, copper, grey, brown
- body: big chest plates, 4 legs, human-like eyes with dark colours, spikes from head to the tip of the tail. Sharp pointy end of the tail. Big curved claws. Scales have different hues of colours or different colours that fit (gold + bronze, but not gold + silver). Big teeth.

 Wood:
- colours: brown, green, autumn colours
- body: serpent-like sleek body, small wings, 4 small paws, tail ends in a stump point. Human-like eyes. Scales have different colours all together, but most do fit together and change with the seasons. Small chest plates, small almost straight claws. Small Teeth.

 Shadow:
- colours: black, very dark hues of red, purple, blue, green
- body: 4 legs, no chest plates, 3 one coloured eyes without pupils, spikes from head to the tip of the tail, tail ends in a scissor head. Big sharp claws, scales appear black but are coloured when they catch the light (iridescent). Small sharp teeth.

 Light:
- colours: white, very light hues of grey, blue, yellow
- body: unwinged, serpent-like, 3 one coloured eyes without pupils, 4 small legs, very small scales, iridescent, plumed end of tail, small delicate claws, small teeth.

 Water:
- colours: blue, turquoise, lavender
- body: serpent-like sleek body, small wings, 4 small paws, small claws, small horn on the nose. Tail ends in a point, human-like eyes. Scales have different hues of colours. Small chest plates.

 Ice:
- colours: blue, white, light grey
- body: 4 legs, big chest plates, human-like eyes, spikes from head to the tip of the tail which ends in a point. Scales have different hues of colours. Claws are big and curved. Big teeth, horn on nose.

 Air:
- colours: light shades of purple, blue, grey
- body: serpent-like sleek body, wings, 4 small paws, small claws. Tail ends in a arrow-head. Scales change along with the weather but keep a shade of colour. Small chest plates. Eyes have horizontal snake-like pupils. Blinking also goes horizontally.

 Weather/Storm:
- colours: dark shades of purple, blue, grey
- body: 4 legs, big chest plates, horizontal snake-like pupils that also blink horizontally. Tail ends in a sharp arrow-head. Scales change along with the weather but keep a shade of colours. Big curved claws. Big teeth.

Hierarchy:

 Battle-Dragons:
In all battle-dragon groups, the hierarchy is measured through strength. The stronger the dragon, the higher the position. The Knight?s position is determined through the strength of the dragon.
Battle-Dragons are those of the elements: Fire, Earth/Metal, Shadow, Ice, Weather/Storm.

 Mind-Dragons:
In all mind-dragon groups, except Shadow, the hierarchy is measured through wisdom and experience. The wiser/smarter the dragon, the higher the position. With more experience comes more wisdom, so usually it?s the eldest dragon that leads. The Knight?s position is determined via the dragon?s position.
Mind-Dragons are those of the elements: Smoulder, Wood, Light, Water, Air.

I'm sure you can determine the powers of each element, but if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to ask me.
We start at one point, where things will start to develop. One of the human-kings has been trying to breach the bourders of Firilia, and dragonknights have been send out to find out why, how he's able to get so far and to stop him from doing it, by all means necesary.

History: Gwen grew up in a big city, where many times took place. In the first 13 years of her life, the city was taken over by war for 5 times. Her parents were slaughtered before her eyes and Gwen herself barely got away. She learned to hide, eventually fleeing from the city to find better places. She wandered around the world for about 2 years, stealing food and clothes when she needed to, before coming across a dragon. He told her he had been watching her for quite some time, and that he wanted to bond her. Gwen, not having a clear purpose in life, seized the oppertunity.

Gwen pulls her black cloak closer around her, her breath forming small white clouds in the cool winter air. The sun is just peeking over the horizon, rolling over the hills. She sits upon her horse on top of one of those hills, looking over the big city that lay before her.
On the hill in the middle of the city, a castle stamds, though in Gwen's opinion it looks more like a dull fortress. She has seen her share of them. It is big and grey, just like any other.
She presses her heals into the horses flank gently, making it head towards the city. She pulls the hood of her cloak over her head, hiding her face in shadows. Though she is well passed a century old, she still has the youthfull face of a 20 years old; one of the pleasures of being bonded to a dragon.
Of course, the magical powers that come along with it were welcome too, not to mention the purpose she has in life now. Even though, for now, that means trying to reason with the king of this country and gently telling him to keep his men from trying to get into dragoncountry if he doesn't want a full out war with the most powerful creatures in the world.
Gwen really doesn't understand what the man is thinking. Unless he has some very powerful allies, with phenominal magical powers, he doesn't stand a chance. Of course, on the other hand, if he doesn't, why would he even risk this?
That is what she was here to find out. The reasoning and the talking she luckily doesn't have to do alone. Her High One, Cahgun, has told her there'll be other DragonKnights to help her out, though she will have to let go of the disliking of other elements. Gwen hopes there will not be anyone of Light in that small group, or it might turn out to be hard.
Lights doesn't really like the way Shadows go about things, whereas Shadows think that Lights are overprotective of things. What is a human more or less? If he doesn't want to answer the questions asked by a Knight, he should die. It is a matter of pride and of setting an example. DragonKnights are supposed to be respected and honored throughout the world, as if they are Gods. That is the view of most Shadow Dragons.
In this, Fire often allies them. Shadows know that pride is one of their weaknesses at times, but to them, it is also their strength. But of course, Shadow and Light are opposing elements. It is only natural they disagree on things.
Lets just hope that doesn't happen too much in this small assembly, or we'll never get anywhere, Gwen thinks. She almost waits for Cahgun to reply to her via their link, but he's too far away, all the way back in Firilia. Their mind-link doesn't go that far. She needs equipment to contact him now.
As she reaches the citygates, one of the guards orders her to identify herself. Instead of saying a word, she takes of her black glove, revealing the dragon-tattoo that spiraled her finger. It's magical, prove of her loyalty to the dragonrace. Sucking in a breath, the guard takes a step back and orders the gate to be opened, apologising for his ruffness as she passes him.
Gwen makes her way into the city, to Dragon's Inn, where Cahgun has said she'll meet the other DragonKnights. An apropiate name for an Inn where DragonKnights will gather, Gwen reckons. Once there, she tells a stableboy to care for her horse and goes inside.
As instructed, the innkeeper has closed off part of the inn especially for the Knights. Gwen, again showing her indexfinger, goes straight towards the commonroom that is part of the closed off section.
She's the first. She has expected that. It's still very early after all. She sits down in a chair next to the fire, taking off her cloak and warming her hands to the fire.
She's of middle height. Light blonde hair pulled back into a messy braid, frames a heartshaped face with bright greenblue eyes. She has been often told that if people didn't know she was of Shadow, they'd easily mistake her of a Light.
Naturally, the black clothing she wears is a dead give-away. It's tight fitting, showing off her thin body that seems to lack musclepower. In truth, she isn't even that strong physically, but she's quick and agile, things that, in her eyes, are much more important.
After warming herself, she sits back into the chair, waiting for the others to arrive.

Specialties: has the ability to slow down time which he uses frequently in battles which make it look like he moves at super speeds whilst using his swords.
History: He found his dragon at a young age in the middle of a burning castle and has raised it since. he has been a wonderer of the lands helping those that need it whilst keeping an eye on things. he is a mystery to most people and only the select few know about him.

Ka-jak jumped off Erif and hurtled through the air until he landed outside of the building. he looked over to a person there who simply gulped and let him pass. he walked into the building with his 2 swords attacjhed to his back. he closed the door behind him to stop the rain getting in and looked around keeping his long cloak on. his long unruly black hair was dripping wet and his deep purple eyes scoured the whole room. he was taller than everyone who was in hte room and they all steered clear of him. he walked up to the bar and spoke to the barkeep.
"is anyone here yet?" he asked him to which the bar keep nodded to a room outback. "thanks". he walked away and entered the room and looked around only seeing one other person. he went over to acorner and sat in a chair and waited.

Gwen watches the newcomer arrive. She senses at him with her element for a moment. Definitely not a Shadow, though for a moment she thought he would be with that hair of his. But then again, who more than she knows that appearances are only that: appearances. They mean nothing.

She nods at him as he sits down, then brushes a lose strand of hair out of her face. She wishes she could talk to Cahgun right now. He is sure to have some more information on who she's meeting here. Information is power, and power is something she likes to have over situations.

"Good morning," she says, her light voice sounding reserved, "Element?"

Though it's not exactly polite to ask something like that, Gwen has never been one to beat around the bush, and she's not about to start now. She wants to know what kind of flesh she's dealing with.

That has been one of her first lessons Cahgun has given her; to see that information is vital and that when you ask direct questions, people won't expect you to plot against them right away, as you seem too straight-forward to do that. They will rather expect you to tell them right out if you have a problem with them.

History: He was an orphan, when he was born his parents died in an ambush. He was the only one to live. He went into a forest and there he found a Dragon family were he was raised. As he grew up with one of his dragon brothers they became bonded. And ever since joined together to fight at will in many battles.

Ryin still in Ishitorys back jumps off into the air and lands safely on the ground. Ishitory comes down and stares at the building. Rying talking to Ishitory: I might as well go in now; wait here brother. Ishitory makes a grim face. Linking to him he says ill be flying around if you need me for anything.

he looked up from his corner and studied her.
Element? he asked as he continued to watch her. why would i have an element? my dragon yes but me?
he stopped for a minute and closed his eyes rubbing ythe bridge of his nose. he moved his hair out of his eyes as he looked at her again.
why are you here? he asked

"Well, I think that would be quite obvious," Gwen replies, replying to both things, "Our High Ones have Elements, sure enough, and we inherit them by bonding them. Otherwise, how would we get our powers, right?"
She gets up and whipes some imaginary dust off her clothes before walking over to the window.
"I'm here because my High One has asked me to settle the matter of that human-king invading our country; Firilia," she says, turning her head to look at the still unidentified elemental dragonknight. "Or rather, I'm to gather information, then try and settle it in any way necesary."
She allows a look of confusion to pass her face. Whether it's false or true, she doesn't let show.
"Truth be told," she continues, "I kind of figured that that's why you were here as well. My High One told me I'd get some support on this mission. I assumed you were part of that."

Ryin goes into the building looking at the people he guessed some one already had entered and who ever that was must of been scary. looking at a back door to which he headed to as he turned to look at it feeling already two presences inside.

While Ishitory outside fliying on top of the building waiting for trouble to arrive.

*walks around* Wow....[this place is so...so different...]

he stayed silent and looked at her.
did they now. wel i am fire then if i am right about what you mean. and i am here because i have been coming here for the last 5 years waiting for someone.
he stood up and gos to a wall.
i must assume the person i am waiting for is you.

Ryin sees a Knight in front of him knowing probably a female but very strong in mind and power thinking of how friendly he or she could be.
With out stopping to ask he passed her and into the room to which the bartender countinusly looked at.

Inside two knights were there, one with blonde her which was a female while the other one more serious looking as well as his appereance said he was sure it was a male knight with out asking their purpose here he sits down in the chair opposing the female knight.

more? this si not making things any easier he muttered to himself. He looked at the new comer studying him the way he did the girl before putting his hands in his coat pockets and sitting down once again

Yes, why? And besides you shouldn't say that when theres a knight with very acute hearing capabilities. Were you not expecting anymore? I was asked to come so i came of free will, besiedes you'll need all the help possible. Behind me is one more so don't complain. But i think only 4 knights will have this mission as a quest and we must act like a team don't you think?

Gwen calmly takes the newcomer in. She can sense her own element also being strong within him.
"Spoken like a true Shadow," she says, giving a smile and a small nod as a greeting. "So your gift lies in the senses?"
She seems a lot more relaxed now that someone's there of her own element. She never felt really comfortable around other elements, but with someone of her own there, taking the guard can be split in half.
"I do portals and shadow-slipping," she says.
Not many Shadows have ever truly mastered shadow-slipping, and Gwen is proud to be one of those few.

Ryin replying to the female knight. Feeling a real shadow power of years of practice and experience. Says. "Well a shadow element aren't you". "While I can drain my enemys soul and as well as power and cast venom, and doom which you wouldn't like being casted on and many other life threating ones like nova, darkstrike, shadowtouch, shadowbreath, death, darkness, darkmist for battles, mega flare and demi". While Ryin tries to impress the two knights more the shadow element girl he starts to show off. But keeps the real lethal wepon secret to himself which he was though by a dragon mster of the shadows. That is summoning.

*finds somewhere to sit and thinks* Why was I here....damn memory...

Gwen smiles apreciatingly, though somewhere, she's a bit annoyed he's showing off infront of another element. Why would anyone reveal most, if not all, their cards in the first meeting with someone who might or might not be their enemy?
She herself also said what she specialised in, but not all the tricks she can do. Portalling is something all elements knew about, as both Shadows and their dragons that can do so had a way of appearing on meetings through that.
Shadow-slipping is something most elements only know in name. They have never seen it before, which, if you knew what it was, was logical. Shadow-slipping allows someone to disappear completely in the shadows and become invisible as long as they're in the shadows.
Along with her portalling gift, it makes Gwen practically a perfect assasin. She hopes both persons here already know that from what she said, as she doesn't feel like explaining.
"That's quite the list," she says to her fellow Shadow, "I've been known to have a few tricks up my sleeve as well, but regarding my profession, revealing them can mean my death, so I hope you'll understand that I don't mention them."
She then turns towards the other knight, folding her hands in her lap, looking like a perfect example of Light and patience, except for her black clothing.
"So.. About the one you're looking for. We might be able to help if you give us a bit more information about that person," she says.

he looked up and stared at her for a while before answering.
"a few years back now i was told of a warrior who would arrive here and i was to take them to a place that only i now know the location of. they told me that when i foun the wariior i owuld know it was them. that is all i know"
he stood up and walked around for a bit stretching his legs before he sat back down again.

"Well, they said you would know.. So the question really is, do you know?" Gwen replies, "Personally, I highly doubt it's me. I don't classify myself as a warrior. I'm an assasin, after all."
She pulls her hair over her shoulder, tugging at it a little. She might be a Warlord amongst the Shadow ranks, which puts her high above almost all Shadows, but in her case, it's not because of the strength she has. Shadows also value cunning after all, and that's something she's very good at.
"You know both our elements," she says, tilting her head a little, "But we don't know yours. If you would be as free as to share that, we might even get to names before nigthfall."

he looked at her before taping the side of his head.
"sorry little one thats for me to know. so where do you hail from then? you dont look like you are exactly from around here"

Sighing, Gwen forces all angry thoughts out of her head. He's starting to get on her nerves. If he doesn't share his element, he must have something to share.
She raises an eyebrow, looking at her fellow Shadow for a moment before looking back at the other guy.
"Information is power. We're willing to share ours if you're willing to share yours," she says, "You're giving me no reason to trust you, so I feel that I have to say I can't give you any more information for the time being."

he sat there with a smile on his lip.
"ah but you see i have a need to remain silent for now. i cant give away to much now can i?"
he sunk back in his chair and stared at her intently watching her moves with the smile on his face still.

Gwen looks back unafraid, not a single emotion can be seen on her face, except that her greenblue eyes seem to have gotten a bit darker. She doesn't break the eyecontact she has with the stranger as her thoughts race by.
Though he seems annoying and rather paranoia of a fellow DragonKnight, there's something about him that makes Gwen go through the effort of not getting angry with him.
"I suppose," she says after a few moments of silence, "We're not of your element, after all."
Which is true. Deep down, she has to admit she wouldn't ever really be open to another element but her own, unless her High One ordered her to.
"So that means you're not here for our mission then?"

"now what makes you say that? and there are those that are very good at hiding their element. even from people who are the same element as them"
he continued to watch her as he stood up and straitened out his coat.

[SupremeAlien]

"Because I'd sense what element you are no matter how you try to hide that," she says, "Shadow is not an all-battle element, after all."
As he stands up, she does too and walks over to the window. She places her hand against the glass and looks outside. The world is getting lighter and lighter. This is not her time of the day. Which is exactly why she choose this time to have the meeting. Once they're done, it should be about nightfall, which is exactly her time.
"Seeing as you apparantly didn't really know that not only rules you out as a Shadow," she says, turning around, "And also rules you out as a Light, because they know that too."
She looks at him again, giving a small smile. Somewhere, this guessing game could be fun.

he smiled at her and started walking towards her with his hands in his coat pockets.
"see your getting the hang of it now. lets see if you can work it all out hmm?"

Gwen leans against the windowsill, her hands on it to keep her balance.
"Well you're going to have to give me more hints," she says, "Otherwise it's no fun."
She tilts her head a little again, licking her lips in thought.
"You're too much into this game to be a Metal," she says after a moment, "Metals are always straight to the point after all. They don't like playing around."

he smiled again.
"see you are getting somewhere"
he reached into his pocket and took out a knife and balanced it on his hand

Gwen finds herself smiling back, starting to enjoy this game for real now. Her eyes flash a little when he reveals the knive though.
"You're certainly no Water or Wood," she continues, "Those are way too calm and peaceful to even dare get a knive out infront of a Shadow, especially when knowing that Shadow is an assasin."

"what this thing?" he holds up the knife. "nah im just hungry"
he takes out an apple and uses the knife to cut a piece out.
"want some?"

[SupremeAlien]

"Still, I think you're too rash to be either of those," she says, "But I'll take some.. I didn't eat during the night."
She brushes a strand of hair behind her ears, looking him straight in the eyes.
"You're too reserved to be of Air," she says.

He hands her a piece after taking of his glove and cutting a piece. His eyes flashed a crimson red as her looked her in the eyes.
"see your getting there now"

[SupremeAlien]

"Yes, I believe I am," Gwen says, taking the bit of apple from him.
Her smile broadens, she didn't miss the flash his eyes gave.
"And having seen that just now," she says, "You're either Smoulder or Fire. And noting the swords, I don't think you're of a Mind-Element, so that leaves Fire. Am I right?"
After saying the last, she takes a bite of the piece of the apple, chewing slowly.

his smile returns once again.
"well done you got it right. im guessin the eyes gave it away hmm?"
He puts the dagger away again and watches her again.

[SupremeAlien]

"A dead giveaway, so to speak," she says with a small chuckle, then continues in a somewhat teasing tone, "Now was that so hard? You could've just old me you know."
She pulls her braid over her shoulder again, starting to unbraid it, blonde strands falling around her face as she finishes doing that.

"ah i could have made it harder for you. so do i get to find out your name now?"
he watches her hair fall down and puts on his glove once again.

Gwen moves her fingers through her hair in order to fashion it a bit, though she doesn't care much about how she looks. It's what she does that's more important, Cahgun told her that himself.
"It's Gwen," she says, having to admit to herself that she doesn't remember the last time she gave her name to a non-Shadow.

"gwen. nice name. nice to meet you gwen"
smiles as he removes his coat and places it on the table.

"Glad to meet you too, Person who seems unwilling to return the favor and tell me his name," Gwen says, heaving herself up.
Sitting on the windowsill now, she regards the one of Fire curiously. For a Fire, he seems alright. He likes to play games, which she does too, and he yet he doesn't let his mission, whatever it may be, slip, which is also something she values. She wonders who his High One is and if Cahgun would know who that dragon is.

"you wish to know my name? i do not give it out freely. i am considered a traitor by many for the fact i am not setled down any where. but you i trust. my name is Ka-Jak"
he sat down and removed his gloves before throwing them onto his coat.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen smiles, apreciating his honesty.
"Well, as far as my opinion goes, a knight is only a traitor if his dragon is," she says, going over to him and touching his arm lightly, "You're not the betraying type either, I'd say, so I won't consider you a traitor. The Scrolls tell of dragons living in other places than Firilia, it's just that the humans have gotten rather hostile and we have no need to interfere in their petty countries unless it gets out of hand."
She heaves herself on the edge of the table, using that as a seat for now.
"Which brings us to why I myself am here," she continues, "Since you apparantly don't live in Firilia, I ought to tell you. The king of this country has been sending troops into our territory. It's upto me and those gathering here to put a stop to that."
She makes eyecontact with him again.
"Personally, my job is to gather -why- he's doing it," she says.

"heh i have heard about about that. well i wish you luck with your task but i dout i can help you in any way"
he looked at her as he felt her hand touch his arm. he shook himself and tried to focus back on the subject at hand.

[SupremeAlien]

"We'll see.. I might yet find a job in this matter that suits you and your element," she says, "Not today though. My job starts at night. I'll need to use this day to plot and rest, so I can be ready to move out at sunset."
She realises it might not be all that smart to trust him with all this information, but she reckons it's only fair, since he trusted her with his name and his sitaution.

He looks at her again for a while and suddenly realises he hasnt said anything in return.
"oh yes thank you for your generosity"

[SupremeAlien]

She chuckles as he breaks his stare by talking, a smile remaining on her lips.
"Well, it's a public Inn, and this section was just closed off for us Knights, and you are one of those," she says, not responding to the possibility that he might be talking about the info she gave him.
That said, she gets up from the table, returning to her seat by the fire and warming her hands against it again. For some reason, she always feels cold when the day begins.

he goes silent and curses himself for his follishness. his expression changed to that of cnfused and also angry. he didnt know what he was thinking and didnt know why he couldnt think staright but tried to push past it.

Gwen switches a little to look at him again. He kinda peaked her interest, after all. She frowns a little, noting the mixed emotions on his face.
"What's wrong, Ka-Jak of Fire?" she asks.

he looks up at her again.
"i do not know. when i loko at you i find it hard to stay focused. i have never fealt anything like this."
he once again found himself staring at her and tried to pul his gaze away

Ryin stayin sitting down on a corner asks ka-jak. "Who exactly are you looking for, an element type or any other information could help us know who we are dealing with." while waiting for an answer Ryin starts to meditate for a moment. Pondering into his mind trying to find answers to what is coming.

he turned to him and loked at him.
"i do not know the persons element all i know is that i would now who it was when i saw them"

Gwen licks her lips again, using the cover of her chair to hide the small blush Ka-Jak's comment caused. She's glad that her fellow Shadow gives her the oppertunity to react to something else.
"Them?" she asks, "So it's multiple persons you're waiting for?"

he turns to her again and trys to stay focused.
"im not sure i say them because it might be male oor female. i am unsure."
he lokoed away again before the feeling returned to him.

"Well that sure narrows it down," Gwen says with a chuckle, then grabs her bag and gets up again, "But not to worry, I'm sure you'll find him, her or them when the time is right."
She walks over to the table, taking a map out of her bag and spreading it across it. It shows all the hallways inside the castle, each floor having its own section on the big piece of paper. Gwen stares at it intendly, starting to memorize it.

has a look at the map and looks over it.
"what are you trying to find? the wuickest way in or what?"

"Well, in case I get caught, I need to know all the exits, don't I?" she says, looking up at him, "We don't know how far this goes. Who knows, there might be Elementals involved or other knights. Which would mean I'm in BIG trouble as soon as I walk in."
Somehow though, she doesn't seem to worried about that idea. If anything, she seems excited about it.

he stands up sraight and folds his arms.
"hmm so you are justr going to memorise it then so you know where to go and such?"

"That's the general idea, yes," Gwen says, looking back at the map, "Information is power, and in this case, it might well be life-saving also."
She moves a hand through her hair, flipping it back over her shoulder before tracing some lines on the map.
"Of course, this says nothing about guards and such, but I should be able to get passed all those via shadow-slipping," she says, "If the need is high enough, I can use portals, but remnants can lead people to where I portalled to.. And that wouldn't be very handy."

he studied the map again and took out a dagger.
"the chances are the guards would be placed around here" he placed his dagger on the map and then moved it around indicating where they would be.
"i have.....visited the castle before and that is where they were before"

Gwen smiles broadly.
"Thank you, that will help a lot," she says, mentally noting the positions he pointed out. "Any idea on what is the easiest exit to slip through? Or rather, the one that has the most shadows? I thought of these three, but I'm not sure."
As she mentions them, she points out three windows on the map, which are all near staircases from the floor she'll come down from.

He has a look at the map and notices the places she pointed out.
"hmm with shadows would be the ones you said but there are also these ones here" he said as he pointed to another 4 locations.
"Of course the best place to go out is here but there wont be many shadows here" he pointed to another place on the north side of the building.

"I think that last one kinda takes too long to get to," she says, "From what I've gathered so far, I've got a timewindow of about 3 or 4 minutes to clear the castle once the meeting is over. And that's excluding the possibility of being spotted or an elemental or knight being there."
She looks at him for a moment.
"If any of those lasts happens, I've got less than 2 minutes and I should probably kiss my pretty little butt goodbye."

Quint: *lands Markos in a feld and looks around*

He looks at her again and is lost once more and only just manages to breing himself back.
"im..im sure you will be ok" he managed to say as he turned back again.

Gwen watches him silently, wondering what's causing him to behave like that. On one side, it's flattering of course, but on the other side, it's worrying her.
Finalising her memorizing, she folds the map and puts it back into her bag again. She wonders when she should go to the castle. Sure, sunset is the start of her time, but she doesn't know how long the meeting will take and when it will begin. She should be there way in advance, she reckons.
"I should consult Cahgun," she mutters softly to herself, biting her lower lip in thought. She needs more information and most of all, advice.

Quint: *gets off Markos and pats his side*

Markos: Were are we?

"hmm did you say something?" he asked looking up at her.

A flash of alarm goes through Gwen eyes as her head shoots up to meet his gaze. She smiles wryly.
"I was pondering whether or not to consult my High One. There has got to be some more information about this mission," she says, "It's not like him to send me somewhere that involves so much risk."
After a quiet chuckle, she adds: "He's quite protective."

he smiels and looks away.
"go and speak with him then and find out what you must. i doubt much will happen whilst yuo are gone."

Markos: Someone is neer...Not sure who *flaps his black felvetlike wings*

Gwen nods, taking her bag and exiting the room. She heads over to the bartender, ordering a room and a big bowl of water to be put in there. Once she gets her key and sees the maid leave to prepare the bowl, she heads back to the meeting room for a moment.
"If you need me.. Room 13," she says, "Apropiate number, really."
With a wink, she turns and heads up the stairs.

he smiles as she leaves and sits down when she is gone. he wondered again what the strange feeling he was having whenever he lokoed at her. it was a totally new feeling to him something he had never felt before.

Quint: *moves raven black hair from her face*

Gwen enters her room, locking the door tight behind her. She takes the bowl the maid took and places it on the centre of the floor. Taking her back, she removes 5 black crystals from it, making a circle around the bowl with them.
She sits down in the circle, putting a dark powder in the water, which immediatly starts to boil. She looks into it deeply, her eyes turning darker and darker until they're black.
Now in trance, she searches for the mind of her High One. Finding it, she connects to it. The ritual is ancient, and takes up a lot of concentration, but Gwen feels that she needs to do this.
What is it, Knight? she hears crystalclear in her mind. The sound of the deep rumbling voice of Cahgun already soothes her mind somewhat.
I need more information, she sends back, I feel that there are too many risks involved. And now this FireKnight has shown up, with a sidemission it seems...
She tells him the story of what happened since she left him in full detail, knowing that in the real world, it would've taken hours. Here, it's just passing on memories.
I see, Cahgun replies, seemingly sighing in his mind, I can't tell you anymore, as I don't know anything more. This mission is too important to mess up on. I don't trust anyone else with it. You will have to do your best.
I understand, High One, Gwen replies, feeling sad, and a bit worried.
Be careful, my Knight, Cahgun says, then without pardon breaks the connection.
Gwen sucks in a breath, her eyes returning to normal, the water in the bowl seemingly normal water again. That didn't help one bit. She sighs and rubs her temples, feeling very drained.

Gwen sighs again and packs her bag back up. All in all, she has a feeling she hasn't been gone for longer than 10 minutes. She heads back downstairs.
As she enters the room again, nothing much seems to have changed. She herself looks rather pale, as if all energy has been drained from her all of a sudden. In a way, it has been.
She can't help but feel dead tired, as always after contacting her High One from afar. Sure enough, Cahgun has his own matters to attend to and couldn't come along, but each time she has to contact him now, it'll take a lot out of her.

he looks up and sees gwen ener the room.
"are you alright? you dont look so good"
he gets up to help her.

Markos: *lands outside a castil wall* This seems to be the place

Gwen tries to steady herself, but isn't able to keep herself from swaying on her feet a little.
"Just a little tired, that's all.. The side of Shadow that's used to contact dragons over long distance isn't really my strong side of the element," she admits wryly.

he takes hold of her arm and helps her to a seat.
"you want some food or anything?"

Quint: *walks up to the gate and pops a hole in it using magic the hole being big enough to fit Markos* Come on

Gwen gratefully takes his support and sits down when she can.
"No, I should be fine in a little bit," she says.
She smiles at him, starting to get rid of the drained feeling. Somehow, being around this guy seems to help.

He smiled at her and went and sat on the table and watched her.
"so what did he or she have to say?"

Gwen rubs her temples again, looking down for a moment, concentrating on getting her energy back to normal.
"Nothing, unfortunatly," she says, "Aside from a compliment, the conversation was rather pointless.."

He got up from the table and walked over to the window and lokoed out trying to get her out of his thoughts

"Father what is my real purpose here two individuals were here and one of them is not providing enough information. What am i to do."
"You were sent to wait for someone but i can't say who these are they have meddled in our mission. You must gain there trust and let them give you the information needed. Have patience my son for you are to young."

After waking from the meditation and being disconected of what has been happening. "Great another problem to deal with and i don't take along with these kind of people i must find someone who can help me first".

Gwen looks up as someone speaks, having dozed off a little since she sat down.
"You're going? So soon?" she asks, "And who's to say Ka-Jak and I can't help you?"
She tilts her head again a little. Is she really to become the only Shadow on this mission? Though at least she has the feeling she can trust Ka-Jak now.

he looks away from the window and turns to the other shadow breaking contact with his dragon.
"you are offf then?"

Quent: Oh pah! *smiles shooting another fire ball into the inn this one breakes a window*

He turns his head as he hears a window break and walks over to the window.
"hmm? what could this be?" he looks out and sees them both there.

Gwen appears behind him, hands hidden in the cloak she's wearing again. Beneath it, she's holding two shurikens, ready to throw them if the newcomer poses a threat. Her hood pulled over her head, her face is hidden in shadows. Daylight isn't really her thing.
She looks at the girl and then at the dragon, making a short bow with her head.
"Pardon my asking, Honored Dragon," she says, "But what exactly is your purpose in this place?"

Her head moves a little inside the hood as she frowns.
"Didn't you consider visiting Firilia?" she asks.

Gwen chuckles lightly.
"The kings knights are a much better target than an defenseless Inn you know," she says.
She thinks for a moment.
"In fact, if you're bored and want to get into trouble, I think I know something for you to do later today," she says.

Gwen watches Ka-Jak go a little worriedly. Is something wrong with him? But then the newcomer requires her attention again.
"I believe you," she says, "But if you werent looking for trouble, why were you shooting at an Inn?"

He stops after a while and stands still looking up at the rising sun.
"oh what a fool i am"

Quent: Ill fix it *walks over to the shattered window and a violet light comes fromher hands placeing the glass back together then fixes the hole in the wall and any bure marks* There good as new

Markos: *smiles*

"Nice work," she says, "So your gift is both destroying and fixing? Intrueging.."
She moves her hood a little backwards, so her face is shown. Still, she makes no sign of taking it off completely. The fact that she's a Shadow by the way she looks should explain that.

He stands there for a while before letting his head drop.

Quent: Oh of course! My great hornorable, smart, loual, and all around great dragon Markos *smiles and pats his nose*

"You can call me Gwen," she says.
Inside, she finds the way these two are together rather.. odd. Cahgun would only be like that with her if they were alone and in a secure place. He's not one to show affection openly.
She looks over at the direction Ka-jak took, then looks back at Quent and Markos.
"Though you two aren't troublemakers apparantly, I still have a troublemaking mission if you're interested," Gwen offers, then sighs, "I have to check up on our other Knight first though.. He seemed.. distraught."

He sinks to the ground and simply kneels there for a moment before looking up at the sky

Ryin jumpst throught the window ka-jak did through, breaking it again.

"Well im off you guys" looking at the young female for a while. "And who is this Ka-jak"

As Ishitory drops from the sky.

"Well before I go this is my dragon Ishitory" "My name is Ryin" Ryin Jumping into Ishitory. "We must depart now and i beg your pardon for breaking the window.

Gwen nods, then takes off and goes to Ka-Jak.
She kneels down next to him, putting a hand on his shoulder, trying to keep her skin hidden from the sun.
"Are you alright?" she asks, worry evident in her tone.

Ryin turns to Ishitory "I think we came in a bad time" [seems so] "lets get out of here." Ryin jumping into Ishitorys back. "I hope to see you guys later." they both fly off.

he turns and looks up t her.
"i dont know"

[SupremeAlien]

"Well, what's wrong then?" Gwen asks, pulling the heavy cloak a bit further around her so she can face Ka-Jak without being in the full sun. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
Somewhere, she's surprised at herself. She's not usually the one to help people, let alone Knights of another elements.

"i..i dont know"
he looks down so as not to get distracted again.

"That's not really getting us anywhere, now is it," Gwen says, swallowing a chuckle. Now is not the time to laugh.
"Come on, lets get back to the Inn and get us a drink," she says, "That should at least make you feel a bit better."

"yeah i guess so"
he stands up and turns towards her lost in her eyes once again.

Gwen smiles up at him, then takes his hand and starts leading him back to the inn.
"We'll have to do something about that, really," she says, "Blood and Ashes, who knows what might happen if you'd zone out like that in time of battle or anything."

he stares down not knowing what to do.

Once back at the Inn, Gwen sets Ka-Jak down in one of the chairs near the fireplace in the meeting-hall. She orders something hot to drink for both of them, along with food.
She takes off her cloak again and folds it neatly, placing it by her bag, before sitting down in the chair across from Ka-Jak's. She waits until they've both received their drinks before she speaks again.
"You look lost," she says, holding the warm mug in her hands so it warms her fingers.

Quent: *leads Markos into the Inn he just barely fits though the doors* you have to lose a few pounds dear *giggles*

Markos: *roles his eyes* I sappose so my lady *chuckles also*

Ka-jak looks at gwen and tries to think of something convincing that wasnt the truth butt couldnt.
"I..." he looks down"every time i look at yuo i feel mymind to lose forcus on everything around me. My dragon tells me it is love but i do not know as i have never felt this way before"
Once he had said the words he wished he could take them back again and sat there silently.

"you know knights that walk around wearing no armour? instead they wear coats? wow"

Quent: *laughs* Knights in my kingdom wear red robes there armor under the robes and on the right side of there robes is a silver lion mark of the BlackLake Knights. Its quit dashing really *leans on a wall*

"ah yes i have seen them before. they did not like what i was wearing when i visited there"
A smile crossed his lips as he spoke as the memory returned to him.

Gwen listens to the two chat, her thoughts on what Ka-Jak said. Love? For a Shadow Knight? Or more specifically; for her? It's hard to imagine. Of course, this knight doesn't know her very well yet. He knows she's an assassin, but he doesn't really know all the stuff she pulled.
She perks up as Quent mentions the king wanting allies. She sits up, puts an interested look on her face and looks at Quent.
"So the king wants allies? For what?" she asks. If he is searching for allies, he might well be invading Firilia. If he does that and Markos and Quent are in his army, there could be more dragons there. A battle between dragons for a humans greed. The thought alone is unnerving.

He watches as Gwen seems to become interested in their conversation.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: Not sure top secret stuff he hasnt even told his lead mages...Only him, Queen Arora, and the Silver Lion Knights know. *crosses her arms* I can see why he hasnt told the mages *smiles* some cant be trusted

Markos: *glances at Quent then shacks his head* Silly girl

He listens in with interest at what she has to say.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: All I know is that he needs friends in the other contrys...I think its because BlackLake has become so unpopular with the rest of the world for its practis in Black Magic. *shruggs* But thats just me *smiles ignoring Markos*

"hmm such a noble effort. any one want a drink?"
he stands up and lokos around.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: Wine would be nice

Markos: *rolls his eyes* My lady is only 14

Quent: So?

Markos: Do as you wish my lady

[and how come you didn't ask for help]

"Well becase i don't know them and because im a shadow don't you rememeber shadows work alone"

[then how come your with me]

"Well because your my dragon and companion"

[Ohh well seems so]

Gwen gaze darkens. She looks away from both Quent and Ka-Jak, not wanting them to think she's angry with them.
Inside, she feels very angry, and worried. Since he hasn't even told his mages, they might well attack Firilia. She had better find out exactly what's going to happen tonight.
"I have a feeling that black magic is only a little part of the magic that the king is going to use," Gwen says, "If he's going to do what I think he will anyway."
She gets up and pulls another map from her bag, spreading it on the table. This one shows Firilia and the surrounding countries.
"If I'm correct, Firilia will be at war soon," she says softly, not sure if she wants them to know that.

Ishitory and Ryin stop in the middle of the forest for a rest.

"Well the shadow female knight. I can't recall her name i think it was Gwen. Well she knew way much to information. She keeps many secrets, and who she works with.

[what of her]

"I think she could of helped us but that meeting i was to go for was much more to gain their trust into helping us on war to fight for the bonds between dragons and humans"

[well as you know theres been many wars going around, do you actually think we could stop it?]

"Well with a little help maybe but for ourselfs with help or the dragons we can still stand a against them"

[but its always better to have friends and help]

"I don't offer my servises for free and friends you just can trust anyone who you meet in middle of the road Ishitory"

[well i guess not]

both start eating apples from a tree.

He walks back in with a bottle ion one hand and 3 glasses in another and pours the wine into it.
"here you go"

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *takes a sip slowly* Very good...*looks at Gwen* I dont think its anything serious really his Highness is a good man

[DragonSummoner]

Ryin gets up. "Well Ishitory we better make the time now lost. I have the feeling a great war approches"
Ishitory gets up and spreads his wings.
[Are we not sleeping]
"No we don't have time"
[well then we shall depart at once]
Ryin jumps into Ishitorys back and they take flight.

He drinks some of his and sits down next to Quent and looks at the map.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *looks at the map*

Markos: *lifts his head from the ground looking at the map also*

it was night already. and isitory and ryin had been flying for a few hours now. It was dark.
[I think we should go into a city or town and rest]
"I don't need rest but if you want we can"
[Well anyways were are we going to look for your father]
"maybe at Firilias borders, for we were raised near them and there was when my dragon father saw my birth father"
[Do you have a map]
"No"
[well it seems we must stop at the next town and get a map and a nap]
"I guess your right"
They both see a town up ahead and land in middle of the town.

Looks up from the map and at Quent.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *gives a fuuny look at the map then takes another sip of wine*

he watches her as she drinks it and then re-fills her cup for her after doing the same wit his.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: Thank you *smiles charmingly*

he smiles back at her and takes a sip from his cup.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: This map...thing is fasinading and all but...

Markos: *grunts* My lady...

Quent: *sighs* yes yes nevermind

"Say what is on your mind"

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: Nothing nothing *sips her wine* ...*gives a smerk*

Markos: My lady is borid

Quent: Details details

Ishitory stays out of the inn. While Ryin enters and goes to the bartender.

"Hey you bartender where can i find a map of Firilia and its borders and also give me some meat all i have ate is fruit" The bartenders gives a scary look and points at a man seating in the corner.

Ryin goes to the table. "Hey you the man said you have a map i can have" But the man was wearing dark cloth and hat so nobody couldn't look at him in the eye. Slowly Ryin took out one of his short ice swords and pointed it at the man.

Man: I might but i do not give it to knights or for money.
Ryin: your a shadow element aren't you.
[hey ryin how come you take so long]
"I think there might be trouble"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen looks up and faces Quent, a mightily annoyed look on her face. The girl is pissing her off.
"My country, with all my friends, and all the High Ones, including my own High One is about to go to war, and you're annoyed because you're bored?" she exclaims.
"If Firilia goes to war, it won't just stop at this one small country. Dragons go much further than that," she continues, "If we can't stop the king from sending those patrols into Firilia like he's been doing, the dragons are sure to make a proper example to mankind."
She folds the map up and shoves it into her bag.
"And if that whipes out half of mankind, guilty or innocent, it doesn't matter."
She also ties her cloak around her tighter and pulls up the hood.
"You might think that's boring, but I've seen my share of wars in the 126 years I've been a DragonKnight and innocent bloodshed isn't something I like, Shadow or no."
She walks to the door.
"Ka-jak, I'm sorry to leave like this. It's nothing personal. I need to do what needs to be done."
With that, she exits the room and the Inn. Going over to the stables, she prepares her horse before mounting. She'll have to find help elsewhere. Perhaps she should try and locate that other Shadow. He might be able to understand the urgency of things a bit better.

[DragonSummoner]

Man: Ill give it to you if you can afford a fight thats if you have time.
Ryin: What.
Man: Hey kid this is the only one you'll find here that is if you ain't scared.
"Ishitory"
[what]
"He wants a fight"
[Well give it to him]
"Ok then"
Ryin: alright then but if i win you give me the map.
Man: right, then lets head outside.
Ryin: Ohh yea it has been some time since i fought.
"I just wish i haven't lost practice"
[Don't worry you'll win]

Quent: *rases her brows* Was it something I said?

Markos: No it was something I said

they both go outside.

Ryin: Hey man if you want to run just give me the map ok.

Man: Don't hesitate i have nothing to worry about kid.

Ryin: Now nobody calls me kid.

Ishitory lands behind Ryin.

"I know"

Ryin: Well then should we start

Man: If u think your ready

Both take their swords out mine the blood red sword and his a long dark black.

he turns to quinn.
"i have to go with her. she cant do this alone. If you wish to follow then follow but only if you plan on helping"
He runs outside and jumps onto his dragon before shooting off after Gwen. He flies up beside her and cals down to her.
"Wait!"

Gwen pulls her reins to stop her mount as the dragon flies up next to her. Surprisingly, the horse doesn't seem afraid of the dragon, which proves it's been around them.
Gwen looks up at the dragon, then at Ka-Jak.
"So this is your High One?" she asks. She's never called dragons dragons infront of them, as they deserve more honor than that in her opinion.

"yes she is. we have been together a while now"
He jumps down of her and stands next to the horse.
"You shouldnt let Quent get to you like that"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen looks up at him then almost invisibly shrugs.
"I just get so angry when someone is playing around like that when there's so many lives at stake," she says before looking down. It's a fault, she knows, but she can't stop caring just because she's a dragonknight, now can she?

[loc_zsu]

He sighs and looks at her.
"She is only 14 she does not fully comprehend the trouble that we asre in yet"

[SupremeAlien]

"Clearly," she says, "But that being as it may, I can't count on her to do battle. She'd need to stop playing for that."
She looks at him again.
"But seeing as you came after me, you're in?" she asks, a bit hesitant.

"I cannot let you go into this alone. I may have other duties but they can wait"
He pushes some hair out of his face aft5er taking down his hood.
"where were you planning on going?"

[SupremeAlien]

"I was planning on trying to find that other Shadow and see if he'd come along, then set up camp near the castle around nightfall and then do what I'm intended to do," she says.
She studies his face now that it's out in the light, her own remaining hidden as she's not a big fan of daylight.
"That part is still on as it were, as my High One ordered me to do it," she says.

"and why are you not riding your high one then?"
He reached out and stroked the horse as he spoke.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen chuckles.
"Cahgun would never let me ride him. He's far too proud of that," she says, a caring tone in her voice as she thinks about her dragon, "He usually accompanies me on missions, but now he had other things to do in Firilia, so he send me out on my own."

He smiled a bit at the thought of it.
"i see. shall we carry on travelling then?"

[SupremeAlien]

"Yes, I think that's a good idea," she says, not breaking eyecontact with him just yet, "And perhaps we can catch ourselves some dinner before I head into the castle. Spying is so much more easy to do if your stomache isn't rumbling.."

He starts laughing before answering her.
"yes that would be a good idea. Do you wish to travel by your horse or would you like a ride no my dragon?"

[SupremeAlien]

"Would she allow that?" she asks, eyes going a bit big. She's never ridden a dragon before. She knows her horse is trained enough to follow them, but she really doesn't know if she should be happy or scared at the chance of riding a dragon.

He turned to his dragon wyho lowered her head to make it easy for them to get on.
"She is ok with it"
He held out his hand to help her.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen swallows, then places her hand in his so he can pull her up. She has no idea where to sit and what to do, so she decides to let him deal with that.
"She's very generous then," she says.

He smiles as he helps her sit just in front of Erifs wings and then strapped her legs down.
"Ok then are they tight?"

[SupremeAlien]

"I think so," she says, trying to get used to the idea of sitting on a dragon. It feels.. wrong.. somehow, yet very nice at the same time. She gently touches the scaly hide of the dragon, the only other dragon she's ever touched being Cahgun.

Ka-Jak climbed noto erifs back and sat in front of Gwen not securing himelsf down.
"ok yuo might want to hold on to something"
He patted Erif on the side and she flapped her giant wings soaring into the air.

Gwen wraps her arms around Ka-Jak's waist, keeping a tight grip and it takes most of her selfcontrol not to burry her head against his back when the dragon starts to fly.
It's clear she's no experience in this, and that she finds it a bit scary, even if she tries to keep that fact hidden. She keeps her eyes open though, not wanting to miss anything.

Ka-Jak smiled as Gwen rapped her arms around him and turned to loo at her.
"You havnt done this before have you?"
erif started to shoot forwards gaining hight and speed as she went.

[SupremeAlien]

"No, never," she admits, a blush on her cheeks. She doesn't losen her hold on Ka-Jak one bit, but looks at him with as much calmth as she can muster.
She knows Cahgun won't like this when he learns about her flying on another dragons back, but she trusts Ka-Jak and she will just have to accept that. Then perhaps he might let her fly her. That should be just as amazing as this.

he smiles at her as erif suddenly drops down and flies just above the water that they were passing over.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen bites back a yelp at the sudden drop, then takes a look around. It's gorgeous here. Slowly, she's starting to get used to the movements of the wings and the dragon herself.
"Is it always like this?" she asks, filled with wonder. She never imagined it to be so.. smooth.. really.

he turns to look at her.
"iyt generally is yes. even when there is a storm a dragon can fly through it rather smoothly"

[SupremeAlien]

"That's amazing," she says softly, gently losening her grip on him a little, wondering if she didn't crush his ribs.
"Too bad Cahgun won't allow me to fly him really," she says, "Flying is wonderful."

"why wont he let you fly him then?"

[SupremeAlien]

"He thinks that's below him," she says, "He doesn't really like humans, and he doesn't want to be compared to a horse, since humans usually ride on those."
She chuckles.
"The fact that he can obliterate anyone saying he's a horse apparantly hasn't been thought of, I think," she says.

"hmm fair enough"
He looked at erif who had turned her head to him with a questioning look on her face.
"sigh. Gwen you may want to hold no tight"
he turned back to erif and noddeed.

[SupremeAlien]

"Why?" Gwen asks, but complies immediatly. Not only is she holding him for her own safety, but she can't help but like it too. She looks down the dragon's flanks. The world seems to pass by quickly, yet it all seems so peaceful and right.
