Erif suddenly shoots up traveling directly upwards whilst also spiraling as she went.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen can't help but yelp when that happens. She presses herself against Ka-Jak, not wanting to fall, and not able to surpress the fear she's feeling now. She's never been afraid of heights, but she's never flown before. She doesn't know what to expect.

Ka-Jak feels her press up against him trying to stay on and smiles a little. Erif continues flying upwards before she stops flapping her wings and lets herself fall back down again gaining speed as she went but still spiralling.

[SupremeAlien]

"Does she always do this?" Gwen asks, now actually burrying her head against his back. She feels her stomache turn, but isn't actually nausious.

[loc_zsu]

he smiles and turns his head so she can hear him better.
"no this is just for you"
Erif suddenly stretches her wings and levels out before doing a whole loop and then carrying on again.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen nods slightly, the entire happening both exciting and scaring her. Of course, that's natural, but still, she's feeling a bit like a fool for being scared.
She removes her head from the position it has against her back for a moment, looking around. The sun catches in her face, lighting it up. She doesn't exactly fear the sun, but somehow being in sunlight has always discomforted her.
She hastily pulls the hood of her cloak further over her face before hastily rewrapping her arm around Ka-Jak. Is it just her, or does holding him feel natural?

He watched as her face was caught in the light and couldnt help but be amazed at her beauty. He turned his head to look where they were going adn could see a castle looming in the distance.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen doesn't losen the hold on him again, but does take a look around, the hood of her cloak shading her face perfectly from the sun. The cloak had been a gift from Cahgun, and she wouldn't be amazed if he enhanced it with his power.
If the dragon doesn't go acrobatic again, she might really love this flight, for it gives such a nice view on the surroundings.

Erif drops some height and follows the shape of the hills, rising and falling as the hills do.

[SupremeAlien]

"It's beautiful here," Gwen breathes, finding herself smiling as the dragon flies smoothly.
When they're going downhill, she notices the castle up ahead. It's bigger than she imagined, but no matter, she will sneak in all the same at night.

Ka-jak spots a small village just outside the castle and tells erif to land near there but not to close. As they get closer erif slows down and lands in a field.
"Here we go then"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen dismounts as best as she can, sliding off the dragon with as much grace as she can make of it. She turns and bows to the dragon.
"Thank you," she says, then looks up at Ka-Jak, smiling, "That was amazing."

[loc_zsu]

He pats erif on the neck.
"She can fly well when she wants to. Now then about that food?" He points up at the village. "shall we?"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen smiles.
"Yes, we shall," she says, then admits, "I feel like I could eat a horse.."
She starts walking towards the village.

[loc_zsu]

He turns to erif and tels her to wait before putting on his cloak and following her.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen waits for him to catch up before walking on, nearing the village as they go.
"I think we still have a good three or four hours to kill before I have to take action and such, so what would you like to do in the mean time, besides eating?" she asks.

"I think ill let you chose this one" he said as he walked next to her.

[SupremeAlien]

"Careful.. I might make you sing.. or dance," she says, grinning at him as they enter the little down, "I can think of very emberassing things for a person to do."

[loc_zsu]

"ah but so can i" he said as he laughed.
He looked around the small town not seeing much that they could do.

[SupremeAlien]

"Really now? Like what?" she asks, walking towards the single Inn the village has. She can feel the hunger in her stomach. She'll do anything, but first she wants to eat.

[loc_zsu]

He smiled but didnt say anything.
"You know what ill leave that to your mind. Lets get some food"
He leads her to an inn that served food and walked in.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen immediatly goes to the counter and orders food and drinks, before taking Ka-Jak's hand and leading him to a booth to sit in. Her horse will probably wait with the dragon once he's found her, so she doesn't worry about that.
"No come on, don't tease," she says, "Tell me."

he continued to smile as he looked at her.
"ah i got nothing" he finally said holding up his hands in defeat.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen chuckled, listening to the musicians playing in one of the corners of the Inn.
"Than I think I might seduce you to a dance, for lack of any other entertainment," she says.

"oh im sure you wont have to do much for that"
He smiled at her and couldnt help feeling that this was how things were meant to be.

[SupremeAlien]

Just then, the innkeeper arrived with two plates filled with food.
"But first.. Let's eat," Gwen says, very neatly starting to eat. Cahgun taught her to always show manners, no matter how hungry you are.

Ka-jak smiled and took his plate and started to eat the food whilst watching Gwen.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen takes her time eating, not wanting to have an upset stomache later in the evening. Being around Ka-Jak already gives her stomach enough to churn about. She looks at Ka-Jak watching her, then smiles.
"Tasty, isn't it?" she asks.

He lokos up at her and smiles.
"That it is. i have eaten here before and you cant beat thier food"

[SupremeAlien]

"I have no doubt about that," she says, "I can't cook, or bake, anything."
She stabs what's left on her plate with her knive before taking a bite again.

[loc_zsu]

"well im not xactly and expert either"
He smiled as he said it and finishred off the food that was on his plate.

[SupremeAlien]

Watching him empty her plate, Gwen put her knive down.
"Care to dance?" she asks, offering him her hand.

[loc_zsu]

"depends. are you going to take of your cloak?"
He removed his cloak and put down his swords and stood in front of her.

[SupremeAlien]

"If you insist," she says with a smile, then takes off her cloak and weaponbelt. Underneath it, her clothing is just as black, but it doesn't hide much of her curves.
"Shall we?" she asks, looking at him with a smile, though she feels a bit unsecure without her weapons.

he holds out his hand with a smile. He could tell she didnt want to leave her weapons there but he was sure she would be ok without them. His eyes couldnt help but trace the shape of her body as he looked at her.

[SupremeAlien]

She takes his hand and takes him to a little free space in the Inn near the musicians.
"You take the lead," she says, "From what I know, the males are always supposed to lead."

[loc_zsu]

He smiled.
"is that true? very well then"
He took one of her hands in his and put hid other hand round her waist and started dancing with her. He noticed she ahd a nice smell about her that he ahdnt noticed before.

Gwen lets him lead, though she's not exactly used to letting a man take the lead in anything. Of course, over the years she learned that dancing is an exception.
Having one hand on his shoulder and the other in his hand, she has to admit she likes dancing with him. She might even start to forget the world around her, the close proximity now clouding her mind.

He smiled as they danced along his eyes getting lost in hers. he would stay here for ever if he could but he didnt know if she felt the same way he did.

[SupremeAlien]

Slowly, the world around her disappears and there's only Ka-Jak. She feels flustered, and is almost certain her cheeks are red, but she doesn't look away from him, enjoying the dance.

[loc_zsu]

He finds himself lost as they were dancing and he felt as light as air. he was tempted to pinch himself to check if it was real but didnt want to wake up from it.

[Bright Eyes]

"Lovly isnt it Markos?" Says Quent at a table watching them dance. Markos can only fit his head in a window.
"Yes it is My Lady," says Makos a chuckle in his voice. "I sappose you will end your flurting?" Quent shruggs and picks at her food.
"Very well my Lady," sighs Markos.

[SupremeAlien]

After what seems to be only a few moments but has in fact been a lot of minutes, the music dies down and Gwen stops. She doesn't remove her hands just yet, looking at Ka-Jak.
"You're a very good dancer," she says very softly, as if speaking will break the trance.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent smiles finishes her meal and dabs her mouth with her napkin. She seems to be deep in thought. Then she looks up and pats Markos's nose.
"My dear dragon" she wispers with a smile. Markos just blinks then chuckles.

[DragonSummoner]

...the man looks up into the sky...

Man: can i bet that your dragon won't interfear.
Ryin: No, i think he enjoys seeing me fight and be my cheerleader.

..man chuckles.. ...ryin throws himself and swiftly attacks his enemy...

Man:Your good as well as your sword.
...man rejects the attack...
Ryin: of course.
...the metal of the swords clanking in mid-air is heard around town as many from the bar come out and see the fight...

when he replies his voice is soft.
"not as good as you"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen chuckles. The sounds of the inn start to dawn on her, the dream-state she was in broken.
"Perhaps we can dance again sometime," she says, slowly removing her hands.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *smiles watching* Lovly just lovly my dears

[DragonSummoner]

...both land sliding in the ground satesfied and exhasted...

Ryin: Seems your enjoying the fight.
Man: You bet!

...man jupms into the air and raises sword to attack...

Ryin: ohh ohh.

..Ryin jumps into the air as well..
..both swords meet in a powerful blow..and both warriors land safely once again..

He felt her hand leave his and his mood dropped a bit.
"yeah lets do that" He smiled and tried to cover up his feelings.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen goes back to the table, immediatly putting her weaponbelt on again. She felt naked without it and now she feels a lot more confident again. Not that she always needs her weapons, but the thing itself makes her feel secured.
"How much time do you think we'll have until sunset?" she asks.

[loc_zsu]

He walked over and picked up his coat and put it on and picked up his swords.
"not long now. im guesin 4-5 hours."

[DragonSummoner]

...man starts laughing...

Ryin: what are you laughing at?
Man: At you.
Ryin: What!!??
Man: You still keep using those same tactics for fighting.
Ryin: Do I know you?
Man: No, but I know you.

...Ryin stares at him with a weird and curious way, anxious to know who this man is...

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *thinks a moment wondering what to say then walks over to Gwen* A thousened apoliges for the way if acted. *bows* May I regane your trust?

[DragonSummoner]

Man: I thought so.
Ryin: Enough talking lets fight!
...throws himself at the man...
...man evades the slash...
Man: I could help you.
Ryin: I'm a shadow.
Man: I know.
Ryin: And how do you know.
Man: because im an ice element.
Ryin: Wheres your dragon then?
Man: Abbys was his name an water element, he died long ago.
[Do you know who is this Ryin]
"I have no idea Ishitory"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen regards her for a moment, then nods.
"Of course," she says, "As long as you don't act as if everything is a game and made for your amusement, we should get along fine."
She gives a smile, pouring herself another drink from the jug that's on the table.

He takes a swig from his bottle and turns to gwen.
"So when are we leaving?"

[SupremeAlien]

"Well, I have to leave at nightfall to do what I do best," she says, "But I could sure use a decent distraction."
She lowers her voice so no one can hear them talk.
"Of course, it should be dangerous enough to have them cancel their meeting, but it has to be serious enough to keep the attention of guards pointed in the other direction."

He smiles.
"i know just what i can do to help you there"

[SupremeAlien]

"Do tell," she says, looking at him with a smile.
A FireKnight can cause enough destruction, that's for sure. She wonders what he has in mind.

[loc_zsu]

He leans in closer to keep the converstaion private.
"I have visited here before you see and well i left an impression on the people up there. uim sure i can causeenough of a rucus to have fun whilst keeping the guaards out of your way at the same time"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen's smiles broadens.
"That'd be great," she says, "If they already 'know the threat' they won't be too alarmed and I can listen in without trouble."
She leans over and pecks his cheek.
"Thanks," she says, fighting to keep the blush off her cheeks.

[loc_zsu]

He resists the urge to loko away in embarasment and just smiles.
"glad i could help. i suggest we move soon though"

[SupremeAlien]

"I agree," she says, "At this time a day it won't be too much trouble to get near the castle. After dark I'm less visible, but now I guess I'll just shadow my way in."
She recalls the map she memorized earlier.
"I think the North Gate will be easiest."

[loc_zsu]

"then shall we have one last drink before we go?"
He rasises his cup towards her.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen raises her glass, clinking the edge to Ka-Jak's glass.
"Sure, why not?" she says, "Here's to the dragon race."
She takes a sip, savoring the drink. She's feeling quite at ease. Help did appear, just as Cahgun said, just not in the way she had imagined it.

[loc_zsu]

He downed the rest of his drink and stood up.
"right ill be off then. Work to do you know?"
Before he left he knelt down and kissed her softly on the cheeks and whispered in her ear.
"for luck"
He walked out and headed towards the castle gates preparing himself for the coming fight.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen blushes, but finds herself smiling again. There's something about that guy..
She turns towards Quent, rising herself.
"Right.. I'd better go too then," she says, "You go on and cause whatever havok you want.. I should be back at the Inn before dawn. If not, I've probably been caught."
She nods to herself to ensure that she will be back indeed, then leaves the Inn.

[loc_zsu]

Ka-Jak wlkas up to the front gates and statres at them. The guards ,lok down at him and statr shiouting.
"HELLO BOYS! IM BACK!"
Erif shoots over from behind him and smashes down the front gate and he calmly walks in as the guards start rushing towards him.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen mounts her horse once she finds it and goes directly to the castle, hearing the noises at the front gate. She smiles, dismounts and walks into the shadows, her form disappearing alltogether once she touches it and becomes invisible.
With the gate half blownup and the guards paying attention only to Ka-Jak, Gwen easily passes and slips into the castle itself, all the while remaining invisible because she's staying in the shadows. Inside, that's harder to do with all the lights hanging around.
She takes her time getting to the third corridor on the second floor, knowing that's where the meeting will be held. When a servant exits the room, she slips into the room, then looks around for a decent spot to hide.

He smiles as the closest gyuard takes a swing at jhim which he easily dodges. He draws out his sword and slashes down the guard and continues walking forwards taking down the guards as he went. His mind was only thinking of how Gwen was doing the whole time.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen eventually decides to use the bars that are all around the ceiling to hide on. She uses her elemental magic to create a portal to up there and takes a good hiding spot. She doesn't need to see them, she only needs to hear what they'll be saying.
Making herself comfortable, she makes sure she's invisible to see from below, with and without magic. Now all she has to do is wait until sunset when they'll have their meeting.

He looks behin hm as the sun started to set and smiled. He drew his other sword and started to run forwards slashing at the guards.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *walks out and growls* Having a fight without me?

Quent: *jumps on his back and unsheths a sword in his saddle* That just wont do

Markos: *charges into the guards*

[loc_zsu]

He watches as they charge in.
"Quint! no dragons! send yours outside to wait with mine!"

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *wimpers*

Quent: Soory *gets off Markos* Off with you then

Markos: *snorts* I never have and fun *walks off*

Quent: Sorry bout that *smiles*

He smiles back at her and dodges a guards attack.
"No problem there. we just dont ant to cause to much of a...disturbance"

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *nods and her hand becomes ablaze with blue flames and starts hacking at the gaurds*

[loc_zsu]

He watches her as she starts plowing into the guards and cant help but smile. He lepas at another guard and takes his head clean off before moving towards another one.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *the blade of her sword becomes aflame with blue fire and everytime it cuts into flesh it burns like asid*

He kicks of a wall and spears into another guard before kicking another in the chest and slicing his head off.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen holds her breath when the king enters with those he's having this meeting with. She can feel the tinge of magic getting thick in the air as a sorcerer of some kind seals off the room with a ward to make sure no one can listen in.
To Gwens amusement, he doesn't even check to see if there's anyone inside already. She can hear the scraping of chairs and hears them sit down.
"Now that we're all here and alone," she hears the king say, "Lets get straight to business.. My guards have informed me they're fighting and I don't like that one bit."
"Yes," a second voice said, "They're DragonKnights, but not quite like me.. They will be trying to find out what's being said in here."
Gwen tilts her head. That voice sounds familiar. She can't quite place it.
"So lets get to it then," A third voice says, "And I'll start by asking the question that I know is bothering all of us except for you, Knight. Who's to say the Dragons won't get word of our invasion until it's begun?"
"Oh please. They will never expect a betrayal of their own kind, Magician," the Knight says, "Once they do, it will be too late and Firilia will be overrun."
Gwen moves slightly, looking down to see who the Knight is. She blinks, putting a hand infront of her mouth to keep herself from gasping. It can't be, can it?

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *rases her sword and slames it down on a guard's head the blow is so strong his skull spits in two like a watermelon*

[loc_zsu]

"Quent im moving further in. you stay here. I have some old scores to settle"He runs past the guards and heads further into the castle.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *sighs and nods* [I never am going to have any fun guess Ill take out my anger on these gardes] *hacks and slashes away at the remaning gardes*

[loc_zsu]

"MATTHEW!! WHERE ARE YOU MATTHEW!"
he runs down the halls looking for matthew searching everywhere he went.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen stares for a moment before retreating out of sight again. At least she knows who's behind all this now. Just then, someone knocks at the door.
After a nod from the magician, the Knight opens the door.
"Sir! The attackers are entering the castle!" a guard says.
The king grumbles a little, then looks at his conspiritors.
"We'll have to postpone our meeting then," he says, "We can't have these Knights see you."
With that, they all leave the room, each going their own way. Gwen lowers herself to the floor. She runs into the hallways, using the shadows to keep herself hidden again.
"I thought I felt your Spark," she suddenly hears behind her. She gasps, feeling cold steel slip into her back by the hand of the Knight that's betraying his element, race and friends.
She jumps forward, becoming visible again, and drawing her weapons.
"No, not today," the Knight says, "But rest assured, Warlord, you'll die before you ever manage to get word to those who need to know. And so will your dragon."
She sees him smile coldly before he opens a portal and disappears. She almost follows him with her own portal but stops herself. That would be suicide. She needs this wound treated first, she can feel the blood oozing out of it, her clothing already drenched.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *has finished off the guards and is cleaning off her sword* [now what?]

He runs down the halls thinking of the last time he was here and what had happened then. He could remeber the way he was almost defeated by Matthew and knew he needed to get payback.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *walks into the castle and makes herself invisable*

[SupremeAlien]

Rounding a corner, Gwen is met by something, or rather, someone, running into her. Landing on her butt, she raises her sword at the person, but the person just looks down at her in contempt, as if not expecting a woman to be able to wield a sword.
"And just who are you and why are you in the castle? I haven't seen you around before," he says.
Gwen forces herself to get up, feeling a surge of dizzyness as she does and crouches automatically in a battlestance.
"No one was supposed to see me at all," she says calmly, "But now that you have, I'll have to kill you."

He runs down a corridor and sees Matthew and gwen preparing to fight each other.
"MATTHEW YOU SON OF A *(&%$"
He draws his swords and starts charging towards them.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *trys to find someone and sees Gwen with someone else*...*stays in the shadows*

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen turns when she hears Ka-Jak, then backs off and lowers her sword as a sign that he can have the battle.
"A friend of yours, Ka-Jak?" she says half-jokingly, "He's awefully rude."

[loc_zsu]

"this is the git who nearly killed me on my last visit. he is the so called champion of the realm."
He stands in front of him and stares him in the ye.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *steps beside Gwen and reapers*

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen looks surprised at Quent, then smiles.
"Come to see the show as well?" she asks, "Not that this matthew-person will be much of a match for Ka-jak, but still..."

[loc_zsu]

He stares intently at Matthew not saying anything just watching him.
"so you have returned hmm coward?" matthew said with a smile on his lips.
"im not the coward here. you are. you the suposed champion of the realm"
"oh really?"

Quent: Yes Ill watch always liked a good rooster fight

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen chuckles, sheething her sword and leaning against the wall. She doesn't intend on letting them know she's injured just yet. No need to shorten a good fight for any reason, especially not if the reason is she herself.
She crosses her arms infront of her chest, watching Ka-Jak and Matthew both, wondering who will attack who first.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *leans on her sword like a cane watching*

[loc_zsu]

"You couldnt beat me last time Ka-Jak. what makes you think you will win now?"
"simple. IV GOTTEN BETTER!" Ka-Jak leaped forwards drawing his swrod as he did and slashed at Matthew who at the same time drew his sword and blocked.
"Very good Ka-Jak. you have been practicing" Ka-Jak paid no attention to him as he kicked out at him and caught him in the stomach before slashing his sword down across his back tearing a huge gash in him.
"comeon matthew. you were betetr than this" They both launched into a flurry of moves slashing at each other from various sides, their blood spilling onto the floor.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *watches as both men try to kill each other*....

[DragonSummoner]

...man attacks first this time knocking Ryin down to the floor with a kick...
Man: your still weak.
...Rying gets up and jumps into the air using an air-slash attack on the man and cutting him in the shoulder...
man: arrrgg! Why you!
Ryin: whoops !
...man charges at ryin but ryin easily avoids the attack...
"Ishitory this guy somehow resembles someone in my childhood but i cant remember who this is"
[and how come you don't ask him]
...man charges at ryin once again but this time punching him and throwing him down to the floor...
Ryin: "damn his strong as well". I'll finish you!
...ryin slashes the man across the arm chest and part of the hip...
...man falls down and sword flys out of his hands...ryin gets up and points his sword at the mans throught...
Man: Wait! Heres the map.
...hands ryin the map...
Ryin: Who are you?
Man: you.....your.... your brother Ryin.
Ryin: Whatttt??? Are you crazy I don't have a brother!
[it seems like a true story to me]
"I doubt it"
Man: I really am ryin and you found me so i will help you.
Ryin: I don't take your help or that your my brother either.
[he could be useful]
Ryin: Ok then but until we reach the location. but whats your name.
Man: The names Taylak.
Ryin: Lets go then. Do you know where the closests castle is at.
Taylak: Well yes its near one of Firilias borders. Here give me the map.
...ryin hands the map over... Taylak points at a plain and a castle in the middle...
Taylak: here.
...Ishitory comes down from the sky...
Ryin: Well then lets go. Jump in. Have you rode one.
Taylak: I hope I havent losed practice.
..and Ishitory flaps his wings and goes to the direction directed to..

Gwen pulls a face. Ka-Jak surely is the superior one here. She can understand he doesn't want to use his elemental powers to keep this Matthew at bay, but getting hacked at like that?
Gwen herself wouldn't stand for it. She'd have long used her powers. Of course, to her, using her powers to overthrow anyone is something you're allowed to do. As Cahgun would say, it shows your enemy how puny they are.
Still, Gwen finds herself worried about Ka-Jaks wellbeing.

[loc_zsu]

Ka-Jak stood there looking at Matthew with his blood dripping onto the floor.
"Well dont Ka-Jak you have done better than you did last time. But now i must leave you." He turned and was a bout to run when ka-jak lept at him and grabed his neck.
"your not going any where" Ka-Jak slamed his blade through Matthews chest before snaping his head all the way round.
"Champion indeed" he spat at the corpse.

[SupremeAlien]

"Nicely done," Gwen says, walking over to Ka-Jak and the corpse, looking down at it for a moment before smiling up at Ka-Jak. She doesn't really know how pale she is or how quickly she should get to a healer, but she's not really thinking about that.
"So this bastard beated you, did he?" she asks, "I take it that was before you were a Knight?"

[loc_zsu]

"no that was after i became a knight. He just didnt beat me fairly is all. that was why i defeated him using only melee attacks. To prove a point."
He stopped and looked at her.
"something is wrong with you...what is it?"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen smiles, looking away for a moment.
"Nothing much, just ran into a blade in the shadows," she says, "But I did find out who's behind all this.. I need to contact Cahgun and then get to Firilia as fast as possible."

[loc_zsu]

"not like that your not. you probably wont even make it out of the castle"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen blinks, trying to get rid of the dizzyness that's starting to consume her.
"I'll have to try anyway," she says, "There's more than just my life at stake here."

[loc_zsu]

Ka-jak looked down and spoke softly.
"then i am sorry" He reached into a pocket and pulled out a small bag that he then opened. The bag released a small gas that knocked Gwen out.

He picked her up and leapt out of one of the windows landing on Erifs back.
"to the inn erif" erif took them to the inn and Ka-Jak layed Gwen dwn on a bed and waited for her to wake up.

Slowly, Gwen starts to wake up, her eyes fluttering open. Remembering what happened, she sits right up, then brings a hand to her head as the action makes her dizzy.
"What did you do that for?" she asks, both angry at Ka-Jak and at herself. She can feel her wound bleeding still, so he obviously hasn't examined where the wound is yet. What was the point of knocking her out if not for her wound to be treated?

"because you would have left on your own and wound up getting hurt more. Now let the dust do its work. it will start healing your wound soon"
He could see the anger in her face and tried not to show any reaction from it.

Gwen gives him a look, then gets out of the bed, standing alone almost proving impossible. She walks as if walking on will-power alone, but makes her way to the window, looking outside. It's still night. Good. Night is the best time to travel, after all.

He looked at her back as the cust started to coem into effect and the wound started to close itself. He stood up and walked over to the door.
"i shall give you some time alone"

Gwen nods, feeling the powder work on her back. Well, if this does help her wound heal fast, all the better. Then all she has to do is wash her clothes while she's on her way.
"When will you be back?" she asks, almost casually.

"when ever you a ready" He walked out of the door and walked down the stairs into the bar.
"you look like youve been in a rough fight" the bartender said to him as he sat down. Ka-Jak only thenr ealised he had not took care of his wounds but srill id not pay any attention to it.
"Just get me a drink"

Gwen watches him leave, then opens the window. Leaving a Shadow alone when she doesn't want to stay? A silly thing to do. She climbs out, keeping her balance on the roof until she finds the rainpipe.
She uses it to climb down, then quickly goes into the shadows and disappears. She feels a bit guilty, perhaps she should've left a note or something, but she can't afford to lose any more time. Cahgun could get in trouble very soon.
"I'm sorry, Ka-Jak," she whispers softly.
She makes her way out of town, finding her horse waiting for her in a grassy area not far from it. She goes over to it and pets its nose, then mounts. The faster she travels, the better it will be.

Ka-Jak could feel her leave but did not try to stop her.
"she doesnt need to be around for what happens next"
"what was that?" came the voice of the bartender s he walked over.
"nothing. put the drink onm y jab will ya?"
"certainly"
Ka-Jak stood up and walked back to the castle and walked abck in.

Gwen keeps a high pace, but makes sure not to tire her horse too fast. She can't help but feel a knot in her stomach. How come she feel so much more alone now than she ever used to, even though she often travelled alone?
And how come that each time she thinks about that, her thoughts keep going back to Ka-Jak? She bites her lower lip, pulling her horse to a stop. Is she what she thinks she is? She couldn't, could she? The last time that happened was over a hundred years ago..

Ka-Jak heart was heavy as he prepared himself for what he was about to do. H eknew that he had no choice in the matter but that did not make it any easier. He tapped into the vast energies dweling inside him and unleased a blast that caused the whole castle to shake. He charged forwards still unleashing the energy s he went. The castle started to topple as the guards tried to escape. He burst into the main room and lokoed at the king as he tried to flee.
"your time has come you fool". Ka-jak lept at yim and sliced his head off before releasing one last blast that destroyed the whole castle and all those inside. At the last moment though he jumped out of a window and landed on the ground. He turned and lokoed at the destruction he had caused and walked away silently his heart still heavy.

Gwen, having just made her way to the top of one of the higher hills, can feel the amount of elemental energy being drawn. She gasps, looking down at the town and the castle, seeing the castle collapse.
Before she knows it, she finds herself riding back towards town. What if Ka-Jak has been hurt? She has a clear sense it was him that did this, but why?

Ka-Jak walked b ack through the town where all of the people were runnig and screaming. He walked into the in and walked over to the bar once again. Everyone had left so he simply helped himself and sat down. His face was one of misery and depair as he thought about what he had just done.

Ryin: [What an element burst is in the distance fading slowly]
Ishitory: [what was that]
Ryin: [nothing]
Ishitory: [so where are we going]
Ryin: [don't know, to find my father and on another adventure i guess]
Ishitory: [ Ok then I guess you wouldn't mind a side trip would you]
Ryin: [huh?? no do as you please]
Tylak: We are close now.
Ryin: [Ishitory land here]

Quent/Markos: *appires next to Ka-Jak*

Quent: Well done sir...Do I sence pain in one's heart sir?

Markos: *is sinent*

Gwen nears the town again soon enough, making her horse walk a slow walk. She's not sure if returning is such a bright idea, and she knows she's losing precious time, but she can't bear the thought of Ka-Jak being injured and no one around to help him.. If he is indeed alone.
She can always contact Cahgun from the Inn, she decides. And then she might persuade Ka-Jak to dance with her again or something.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *breaths in deep looking around* ...

he looks at quent and says nothing for a while.
"just leave me be child"

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *scowls at him* Im only trying to help I proble know more about love then you will ever

Markos: *grunts*

Quent: Well I know some stuff

[loc_zsu]

He looks at the dragon.
"for once the child is right. she probably does know more about love than i do"
He looks out of a giant hole in the inn and looks up at the ruins of the castle.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: And Im no child *crosses her arms*

Markos: *smiles*

[loc_zsu]

"how old are you then?"
He did not turn his gaze from the castle as he spoke.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: 14 but still Im not useless *seems very cross*

[loc_zsu]

"i never said you were usless. i only called oyu a child"

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *scowls* Well dont! *looks away putting the hood of her robes over her raven hair*

[loc_zsu]

He continues to look up at the castle ruins as a small tear falls down his face.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *sighs* Sorry...that was very childish of me...

Markos: *rases a brow*

[loc_zsu]

"No you are right. I am not in my right mind at the moment."

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: Perhaps we can grab a tea one for each of us?

Quent: Yes shall we?

[loc_zsu]

Ka-Jak face does not change as if he did not hear what was said.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *blinks then snorts* Fine then we will get you a tea...Come then my lady

Quent: *nods and hops on his back*

Markos: *heads to a cafe near by*

He looked out of the hole before turning back to his cup.
I should not be so..nasty to her, he thought to himself. She is not the one to blame in all of this.
He picked up his cup and drank from it until it was empty.

Quent/Markos: *walk back over with two cups of tea and one bucket of tea*

Quent: *sits down next to him* here *gives him a cup* It will help

He takes ythe cup and takes a sip from it.
"thank you. I am also sorry for what i said"

Quent: *nods* Its okey *takes a sip of her tea*

Markos: *sits on the other side of Ka-Jak drinking his tea also*

He drinks some more of the tea and smiles slightly.
"its good to see you made iot out of the castle"

Quent: Teliportation isnt as hard as some say *talks very casualy*

Markos: Yea but most do not have a dragon to help

Quent: Yes true I shouldnt give so must credet to myself

he smiles and only the realises he is still covered in cuts and dried up blood.

Quent: Look at you your hurt...*gives a worried eye* Ill help with that

"no leave it be. they will serve as a reminder to what i did today"

Quent: I could just heal it till they are scares if thats what you want *sips her tea* So the pain wont burden you

Gwen dismounts infront of the Inn, leaving her horse outside, knowing it'll take care of itself. She breathes in deeply, then enters the inn, not showing anything of her inner turmoil.
She sees Ka-Jak and Quent. She walks over to them, taking Ka-Jaks wounds in, suddenly not so sure anymore if coming back was the right thing to do.
"..I sensed your powersurge," she says as she reaches the table, not yet sitting down, as she's not sertain she's welcome, "Are you alright?"

Markos: Im fine thank you

Quent: Markos!

Markos: *sips his tea*

He looked at her, tears still in his eyes.
"I just killed everyone inside that castle without a care. No im not doing alright"

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen sits down next to him, moving close to him and giving him a tight hug.
"Killing is never easy," she says softly.

[loc_zsu]

"oh i dont mind the killing. You learn to live with that. its the fact i done it without a care in the world"

[SupremeAlien]

"Why did you do it then?" Gwen asks, sitting back a little, but leaving an arm draped around his shoulder.

[loc_zsu]

"Because i had no choice in the matter. What i done had to be done. And i couldnt tell you about it"

[Bright Eyes]

Quent/Markos: *sip there tea in silence*

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen gives his shoulder a light squeeze.
"I'm sure you'll tell me when you're ready and able to," she says, smiling at him.
This time, she doesn't hide her emotions and lets herself show she cares.
"Now lets get those wounds looked after, shall we?" she says, "If you won't let me run around wounded, well I can't let you run around wounded either, now can I?"

"I supose you are right in that respect"
He stood up and removed his now ruined coat to reveal a tattered shirt.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: I can heal them for him *moves closer to them*

[SupremeAlien]

"That would make things even easier," Gwen says, though silently feeling the loss of not seeing Ka-Jak without a shirt.
She smiles at the girl.
"Thank you Quent."

[loc_zsu]

"i liked this shirt. as well as my coat. now they are both ruined. Looks like Matthew had one last laugh it seems."
He removed the blood soaked shirt and only then realised the seriousness of his wounds.
"Mayb i should be healed"

Quent: *blinks and smiles* I can see why you like him Gwen *clamps her hands toghther*

"L-Like? Who says anything about.." Gwen starts but stops halfway, blushing and looking away, not sure what to say next. She doesn't want to lie, but she's not sure she wants to say it out loud quite yet.

He lokos between them both with a slight smile tugign at the edge of his lips whilst his face also statred to turn red.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: Its as plain as day Gwen *lays cold hands on Ka-Jak's wounds healing the deepest ones* Im not stuped its almost sickening

"Well excuse me for not noticing it myself," Gwen says, "The last time I fell in love was over a 100 years ago. You can't blame me."
She nearly groans. Now she said it out loud.. In a way at least. Feeling shy, she looks at Ka-Jak, wondering how he is taking all this.

Ka-Jak was astonished at what he was hearing. It was not the content that was astonishing him it was the fact they were going on about it as if he wasnt there whilst also healing up his wounds! He couldnt even bring himself to say anything.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *smiles* Gwen Im only kidding it really took me a little while to notes

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen nods, smiling at Quent before turning to Ka-Jak.
"Well you can't convince me you've suddenly gone mute," she says, "What do you think about..well.. all this?"

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *finishes healing him and looks at her work and nods*

"I..I am amazed at the fact that you can talk like that is all. I odnyt htink the rest has sunk in yet"

Gwen chuckles, placing her hands in her lap and looking at him with a smile.
"Well it's easy when someone doesn't say a word," she says, "But don't worry, we wouldn't forget you're here."

"hmm if oyu say so"
He picked up his coat agin and put it on even though it was torn up.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *giggles* the coat makes you look like a bum KJ

[SupremeAlien]

"Yeah.. We should get you another," Gwen says, "That is.. If you think you can survive shopping with women. From what I hear, we're the worst company to shop with, if I may believe the male gender."
She winks with the last bit.

"You two are having way to much fun about this."
He sits down and finishes his drink.
"I supose i have no choice though"

Quent: True you dont have a chose one bit *gets onto Markos*

Markos: *finishes his tea*

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen reaches down and lightly takes a hold of Ka-Jak's hand.
"But first we should all get some sleep. It's not like there's any store open at night, after all," she says, "Plus I need to contact Cahgun.. And I'll most assuredly need some sleep after that."

[loc_zsu]

"You two go find rooms then. I have something i need to do first"
He gets up and walks away and heads in the direction of the castle ruins.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *snorts*

Quent: *says jockingly* Ill order the two rooms then *smiles*

[SupremeAlien]

"I hope he doesn't think he should crawl in bed with one of us," Gwen says with a chuckle, "I can't count the number of men that sneaked into my room that ended up dead.."
She frowns.
"I hope he has enough sense not to do the same.." she continues, "I wouldn't like him dead.."

He walks up to the ruins and stands in front of them. He removes his tattered coat and one of his swords. He takes his sword and slams it into the ground and lays his coat apon it.
"May you forgive me for what i have done"
He stood in the cold breeze feeling all of the rage underneath his surface start to boil over but he did not try to stop it. He let it all loose in one loud scream and sent energy flying into the skys lighting them u pas if it were day.

Quent: I wouldnt mind *laughs*

Markos: My lady have some class!

Quent: Im just joking Markos *rubs his nose still laughing*

"Well.. Lets get to bed then.." Gwen says, taking a key to a room from the Innkeeper, "If you need me, I'll be in room.."
She looks at the label of her key.
"Room 12."

Quent: *goses into Room 13*

Markos: *fallows having alittle troble getting in the door*

He stood in the middle of the now scorched field and let his arms drop to his sides. His energy was now low after what he had done and he needed rest. He took one last loko at the ruins and walked back to the inn once more.

[SupremeAlien]

Gwen goes to her room and gets inside. Once there, she opens her back and puts a bit of the black powder into a bowl of water again, contacting Cahgun and telling him what she find out.
After having been promised he'll be save and that she should get a good nights rest before coming, she breaks contact. All in all, it didn't take more than a few minutes, but it feels like hours. Drained, she gets up on unsteady legs, packing her back again before moving to the bed.

Ka-Jak entered the inn ubt did not get a key but instead walked over to a chair and sat in it. He leant forwards with his head resting on his fists.

[Bright Eyes]

Quent: *gets into her night dress and climbs into the bed*

Markos: *lays his head and neck on the bed and watches Quent*

Quent: *kisses his nose* Sleep my dear dragon do not wait for me to sleep

Markos: If you say so my lady *pulls away from the bed and curls up on the cool floor*

Clothing and weaponbelt still on, Gwen lets herself fall onto the bed, laying her head on the pillows and curling up a bit before letting herself fall asleep.

Ka-Jak stared at the floor deep in thought but did not let himself fall asleep.

Quent: *watches her dragon in the dark room and smiles then closes her eyes*

Ka-Jak stood up after a while and walked outside. The freezing cold wind bit against his exposed skin but he did not seem to care.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *gets up and leaves the room then heads outside*

[loc_zsu]

he closes his eyes and listes to the wind howling away.

[Bright Eyes]

Marko: *looks up the street and sees Ka-Jak's dragon and blinks*

[loc_zsu]

Erif leaps into the air when she sees Ka-Jak and starts to fly towards him but leaves him alone when she sences that he wants to be alone.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *watches her*....*he never really liked talking with other dragons*

[loc_zsu]

She flapped her large wings and landed in a field before she started to snack on the cows that were sleeping there.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *takes off and flys over near her* May I?

[loc_zsu]

Erif looks at him and bares her teeth in the form of a smile. She did not speak much not even to Ka-Jak but she liked to have company. She picked up a cow in her claw and handed it to him.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *bows his head politely and bites into the cow*

[loc_zsu]

She eats the cow whilst at the same time lokoing at Markos.

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *dosnt look at her*....

[loc_zsu]

Erif finishes a cow and turns her head to Markos.
"My name is Erif. Whats yours?" Her voice was pure and calm.

[Bright Eyes]

*looks up at her* Markos is my name nice to meet you

"Is your rider here with you?" she asked as she picked up another cow.

[Bright Eyes]

She is asleep at the inn...I disided I needed a walk alone

[loc_zsu]

"I htink Ka-Jak is the same. He does not want to be disturbed"

[Bright Eyes]

*nods* I sappose not....*smiles* My Lady fansys him its quit funny really

"I think his heart has been taken by another"

[Bright Eyes]

She knows but she is young and jokes *smiles*

"And what about you? how old are you?"

[Bright Eyes]

*chuckles* let me think... 240 give or take 30 years

"You are not so big for a dragon of that age"

[Bright Eyes]

*frowns* I was a runt...

*all three land on the middle of the forest*
*All take a sit around the tree*
Ryin: Well Did you ever knew my mom or dad?
Taylak: Don't tell me you remember them.
Ryin: As a mater a fact i don't?
Taylak: Well mom died when you were a baby she was white skin and had a beatiful hair, and those two short ice sword you carry those were hers.
Ryin: Really? And what about dad?
Taylak: Well dad left you with the dragons, while we traveled and i worked my @$$ of.
Ryin: Did father die?
Taylak: No, as a mater fact his castle is that one there. *points in a direction but sees nothing* "What the???"
Ryin: whats wrong:
Taylak: Dads castle is supposed to be...there...

Erif finishes another cow and stretches her wings.
"I was not. I dont think. I never met my mother so i do not know what size she was"

[SupremeAlien]

Back in Firilia, Cahgun paces back and forth in his den. What Gwen spoke of was quite disturbing. Perhaps he had better not stay here and seek her out. He doesn't think he'll be able to survive the death of another Knight bonded to him.
His scales gleam a dark purple in the little light in the room, the only sign he's not completely black. Of course he has told the Shadow dragons he trusts about what Gwen found out, and he knows they will spread the word to the other Elements so they will be preparing.
He nods to himself, spreading his wings and circling up towards the hole in the middle of the ceiling, flying out into the night air.
Not long after he has entered the endless sky, he calls up a portal, dark magic whirling infront of him, the big portal slowly opening.
He flies through, appearing not far from the village he knows his Knight is sleeping in, the ruined castle proof he's in the right place.
He decides he won't disturb her until morning. For now, she'll have peace. From tomorrow, she'll be back on Knight-duty as he wants it.

Ka-Jak cast a glance in Erifs direction as she ate the cows with marcos and started to walk in the other direction. The sun had started to rise but the wind was still as cold.

[SupremeAlien]

Cahgun passes over the town like a big black shadow. He almost hisses at the rising sun, an automatic reaction from his kind. He likes night better, even though daylight doesn't harm him.
He circles a few times, then goes in for a landing just outside of town. He can feel other dragons nearby, but isn't sure what Gwen's connection is to them.

[loc_zsu]

Ka-Jak looks up and spots the dragon flying over head. He could tell that it was a large dragon. Maybe as large as Erif so he decided to go and have a look. He walked over to the edge of town to se where it had landed and walked over to it.

[SupremeAlien]

Cahgun lands smoothly, folding his wings on his back and looking around. He tilts his head slightly as he sees the human walking towards him, a habbit he picked up from Gwen. He almost gathers up energy to obliterate this puny human, when he senses a Spark inside him.
So this must be the Knight Gwen spoke of. Better not kill him yet.
"What is your purpose here, Knight?" he asks.

[loc_zsu]

Ka-Jak stood there and examined the dragon.
"I could ask you the same thing dragon."
He was almost a rival for erif size and quite possibly strength as well.

[SupremeAlien]

Cahgun squints his eyes, swallowing down his anger. This Knight has no way of knowing how close he is to his Death.
"A dragon only has to explain himself to his own Knight," he says, his big long tail swishing from left to right, "I need not explain myself to you."

[loc_zsu]

"hmm one such as yourself could only be here for thier Knight so i am guessing you are Gwens dragon"
He was actual almost certain of that fact but did not see the need to say that.

[SupremeAlien]

"Gwen is my Knight, that is correct," Cahgun says, lying down and regarding the Knight with care, "I presume you're Ka-Jak?"

[loc_zsu]

Ka-Jak does not shift position or show any surprise on his face.
"You would be right"
He cuold tell that the dragon had not ben riden on as Gwen had once said. He could not help but smile inwardly at this fact.

[SupremeAlien]

"Figures," Cahgun mutters under his breath. No fun for him then. Any other Knight he could've turned toast, but Gwen told him about this one and he knows she'll be angry at him if her hurts this one.
"If you hurt her.." he says, the threat hanging thick in the air, though the dragon himself looks calm enough.

[loc_zsu]

"if i hurt her then i would have the fun of taking out your inerds. from the inside"
He was in no mood to be threatened and knew he shouldnt have retaliated like that.

[SupremeAlien]

Cahgun raises himself, looming over Ka-Jak like a big dark shadow with gleaming white teeth and furious red eyes.
"If you hurt her, I'll not only eat you for supper, I'll make sure you'll watch the demise of everyone and everything you hold dear before you die slowly," he snaps angrily.
Then his head turns slowly towards the village, sensing his Knight stirr and wake up. He nearly smiles at the feeling of wonder he feels she has when realising he's closeby, but that would let it appear this Knight is off the hook. And sure enough, seconds later, he sees Gwen jogging towards them from the town.

Ka-Jak was not phased by what the dragon said but left it where it was when he saw Gwen aproaching. He did not take his eyes off the dragon however. He semed to be eyeing it up for a coffin size.

[SupremeAlien]

When Gwen reaches them, she's smiling broadly and moves right up to Cahgun. She wraps her arms around his neck, barely making it and hugs him, standing on her toes.
"When did you get here?" she asks, looking up to meet his eyes.
"During the night, duh..." Cahgun replies, nudging her back as a sign of affection, "Me and the Knight were having a ... talk.. just now."
This causes Gwen to let go of him and put her hands in her side.
"Did you threaten him?" she asks in a stern tone, then turns to Ka-Jak, "Did he threaten you?"

[loc_zsu]

Ka-Jak did not answer immediatly but insted kept looking at the dragon before turning his head towards her.
"No nothing of the sort"

[SupremeAlien]

Cahgun regards the Knight again. Lying? To help him? What's his gain? Gwen seems satisfied though.
"Good," she says, "He has a tendency of threatening everyone I hang out with because he doesn't want to see me hurt."
She strokes the dark scales tenderly.
"He may look like a big bad evil dragon, but he's actually a big huggable cutie," she continues.
"Gwen!" Cahgun warns, sighing.

Ka-Jak did not move but he could now feel the cold wind against his exposed chest. He rubbed his hands together befoer talking to Gwen.
"Shall we get breakfast then?"

[Bright Eyes]

Markos: *looks up seeing the giant dragon*...*his eyes widen a kind female dragon was not scary but a male well he didnt know*....*he flaps his wings twice without saying good bye and heads back to the inn trying not to be seen by the new dragon*

Quent: *wakes up seeing her dark gray scaled dragon sleep peacefully on the floor unkowing of his midnight feeding* Good morning Markos

Markos: *opens his large eyes and gives a fack yeon* Morning My Lady

Gwen looks at Cahgun, who nods.
"You go and get your belly filled," he says, "Then get your bags and we'll head off. You won't be eating Inn-food for a while I reckon."
As Gwen turns around, he gives her back a slight push with his nose. Gwen smiles, glad he's with her again.

Quent/Markos: *are filling there cheeks with pancakes*....

*both jump into ishitorys back and take of to where the castle used to stank*

Ishitory:[so what really happend]
Ryin: Don't know for sure.
Taylak: We should hurry up.

*Ishitory speeds up a little*

He watches Gwen walk off before following after her to get some food himself. He had not slept at all that night but did not feel tired whatsoever.

Markos: *finishes eating and gives a sigh*....
